I'm not very happy with this product. The first 50 foot hose I received tore at the end where I had the watering nozzle attached after only two or three light-duty uses. I figured it was a manufacturing flaw and lodged a complaint. I received a replacement from UnbeatableSales and did not have to return the damaged product, so that was good. However, the replacement is now tearing in the same place---where the brass connection meets the plastic. I am not heavy-handed with the hose, nor have I tugged on it inappropriately. I do not recommend buying this product based on this experience.

I liked this hose while it lasted. It coils back easily. Doesn't kink. I used it a couple of times a week for light duty, watering my garden. After 6 mos. the hose sprang a huge leak at the connector neck. I contacted the manufacturer since Amazon return expired and they responded quickly with shipment of a replacement. I will update later on the replacement's durability. See photo posted.

Bought this to replace the standard garden hose as it was getting kinked in the caddy we have it in and it was a pain rolling it into the box any more. We have the kind that has the handle on the side and you just wind it in.

The larger version of this hose was on the amazon gold deals. I didnt need 100 ft for the back yard...got the 25 ft. When we received it, we thought strange looking and weird feel to it. But WOW...no weight at all to it, so not a drag to wind it up in the box...glides out very easily...no tugging or dragging the box with it. I am very glad we made this purchase and highly recommend it. I am almost 60...LOL...and I do have arthritis in my hands...this hose makes watering so much easier since it is so light and does not tangle or bend etc.

These hoses are very expensive, but I purchased one. The hose it self does everything they say it should do, but the brass couplings leak. Its not the gasket, its the couplings themselves.

The hose was a beautiful pink color and very light-weight, which is important since I'm dragging it around the yard. There was no way I was going to kink this hose--not possible. I used it about 4 times (no, I did not drive a car over it or let children run amok w/ it), and then, in the brass joint, it just started leaking like crazy! I mean, spraying me down with water! WTH? When reading other reviews (like for the other colors), this is the place the hose tends to fail, every time. There was NO problem from Amazon, sending it back & getting a full refund immediately. I really liked it when it worked--best hose ever! But unless someone at the company addresses the joint failure in the brass part, I didn't even want to chance a replacement. This seems to happen quite a bit. So sad it didn't work out!

This hose is exactly as advertised. It is kink proof and made to last. I have been using it daily for a month or so and I could not be happier. I have it stored in a roll up type storage device that has a hand crank on the side. With my conventional hose I had to pull out an arm length of hose over and over because the hose was so heavy that if I just started walking with the hose nozzle it moved the storage box and then the friction of the rolled hose would generally keep it from unwinding. The Tuff-Guard Hose is so different. You just take the nozzle and start walking and it unrolls with ease. It is so light and flexible yet I can walk across it (I weigh 225 pounds) and it just supports my weight without real flexion. It seems a little strange as I write this to be so excited about a garden nose but it really is the little repetitive things in life that can be so rewarding or frustrating and now watering my plants each evening is something that is stress free and enjoyable because I am no longer fighting the garden hose. The Tuff Guard hose is so easy to roll back into the storage box too. It takes about a quarter of the effort to roll as a conventional hose. I would say that it is only slightly more difficult to rotate the storage box handle with the Tuff Guard hose installed as it is with no hose at all in the box. I am a 45 year old man and I have found this hose to be so good that I plan to send two to my parents next Christmas because I think it is such a great product and makes dealing with a hose so easy. You can't go wrong with this purchase and it comes in different colors too. I bought the red one and it looks really cool and unusual.

Amazon shipped fast like always. Received the hose and really liked it. Had the hose for about a week, and the hose started leaking through the hose material. Called the manufacturer, and with out a question sent me a new hose. They apologized and stated they had a problem with a production run of hoses. Admitting you have a problem, owning up to your problem, and fixing your problem without question means a lot to me. Great investment and an awesome hose.

I bought 2 of the flexable hoses and got 2 free (altogether cost was $109.86) in Dec. Received the hoses in January 2013. We live in Oklahoma and get lots of cold weather and some snow, so didn't even take them out of the box until April. Didn't have the first hoses connected very long and it blew up- the seam ripped and the rubber inside come out. I had it connected to a well, so thought perhaps the pressure was to much- so I didn't ask for a refund but did connect the 2nd hose to City water and yesterday 5-4-13 another one blew up. This time I called and ask that they refund or replace and was informed that there is only a 60 days guarantee. That's fine- guess I should learn to read the fine print. My suggestion is that those of you that have these hoses make sure they are going to work for you before the 60 days is up. My guess is that these are not what they should be and hopefully they will perfect them and make them stronger in the future. I am just out 2 hoses, so far and still have 2 more to go, so we will see what happens. A learning experience.......
