It looks great and it works perfect. I ordered this shower set-up after I got the bath faucet which was a heavy brass construction. The materials are not the same; it is way lighter built and the hose is full plastic and I had to upgrade it to something to match the product.
All in all it turned out as expected and as a side note, there aren't many options for something with a look as clean as this one.

This hand shower set replaced a big box store hand shower. I found most of these hand showers just so-so. At the same 2.5 gpm rating, this one is clearly stronger and a joy to use. The hand shower is also lighter than the old one. We love this shower set and highly recommend it.

The standard Rain spray is wide and gentle, while the Rain O2 air-infused spray is ingenious and made the spray stronger. A family member did notice the center region does not have active sprayers in both Rain patterns, but others didn't. I guess this is how they were able to make the spray pattern wider.

However, the set comes with a 69" PLASTIC hose made to look like a metal hose. It is not too bad compared to the stiff plastic hose in the previous hand shower. That being said, we have no plan to replace it with a metal hose yet.

The installation was easy. The standard threads of the hose connected right up. We did left out the soap dish.

As usual, this Grohe product is very well made and substantial. The spray head is a bit on the large size and has adequate spray settings. It seems all the recently installed shower bars come with a smooth plastic hose, which I always switch out with a clear, plastic coated metal hose of 60" or 72" that you can get at any home supply store. It makes it look a bit nicer and the metal hose seems more flexible. I also never usually install the plastic soap trays that attach to the bar, they get gooey and aren't big enough to hold much of anything but a bar of soap.

I expected much better quality from Grohe. They typically have a good reputation. Posts that hold bar are not chrome all the way around. A plastic tube shaped piece is attached to the wall and the chrome piece goes over the two sides and front. The top and bottom the grey plastic is exposed. This would allow water to get into this fitting. I coated the connection with silicone to hope to prevent this.. The hose is just plastic. I was afraid i was going to break the plastic tray when i put it on. Overall though, i should have expected this quality for the price.

I would give this more stars but for the terrible hose. The shower head works great, but comes with a plastic hose that is built to look like metal. Unfortunately, it was folded and kinked by the time it arrived. With the price of Grohe products, I would expect better. I worked around this issue by purchasing a separate metal hose. I got lucky that the finishes matched.
