Step 1: Hydrate with essie apricot cuticle oil.
Step 2: Clean then prep nails with essie base coat or treatment.
Step 3: Apply 2 coats of essie color.
Step 4: Seal + shine with an essie top coat.

Step 3: Apply one coat of set in stones to three-quarters of the nail.
Step 4: Apply a second coat of set in stones to 1/3 of the nail at the free edge.
Step 5: Shine + seal with your favorite essie top coat.

I love this. When I first purchased it, I didn't realize it was a topcoat. I got full coverage with three coats and used a gel topcoat and cured it. Fabulous!

Color: A Cut Above
I love this Luxeffects glitter top coat for stage performances. The glitter is large and reflective and really catches the light! I get tons of compliments when I wear this. I loved this so much in pink, I then also had to buy it in gold. Now I'm back for yet another color.
I think it looks best with two generous coats of this glitter polish, on top of a base coat of regular polish in the same color. The texture is rather coarse so if that bothers you, a clear coat on top of the glitter will fix it.
I find this to be extremely long-wearing. I can go two weeks straight with one application, because if anything chips, you can just paint more glitter there and it won't show at all that you just added more.
As with any glitter polish, it's a bear to remove, but I found that letting acetone-soaked cotton balls sit on my nails for about 5 minutes did the trick just fine. The extra hassle of removal is worth it for these dazzling nails!

Color: No Place Like Chrome

Well, this is my first Essie nail polish. It is a gorgeous color, but its pretty streaky and was hard to apply with out it clumping. I still am glad I bought this product. I painted my toenails and had a very hard time applying it to my big toes. I had to redo it twice. I still think it is gorgeous. I don't know about the other Essie nail polishes, but his bottle seemed a bit small. It is .46 oz. Normal? I don't know. I still do not regret buying No Place Like Chrome.
