    I bought this pair in mid Dec 2014, normally wear it about once a week, probably have worn about 10 times by now. It's a pair of comfortable and nice looking shoes. I bought it especially because of the water resistant feature and the deeper sole with spikes; it is the perfect shoe to wear during rainy or snowy days in NY. the color is darker than what it looks on the website, however it is not a big problem for me. a typical day for me consists of short walks and taking public transportation to work, just normal wear.

    However on Feb 2, 2015 I discovered the side of the shoe ripped open, letting water and freezing ice into my feet (just happened to be a snow day). Of all my shoes, this is the first time I experience a rip like this. I am concerned about quality control but maybe i was just unlucky. I give it a 3-star for its short life.

    Rockport is my favorite brand of shoes to wear to work but this pair is a lot narrower than any of the others I have purchased. I was disappointed with the lack of comfort. I thought that after breaking them in they would be fine but that wasn't the case.

    Absolutely love these shoes! Rockports are so comfortable and stylish. I have had Rockports which I have worn almost every day last for over two years. Usually the shoe strings break before there is any damage to the shoe. Great quallity shoes which can be found at very good prices. I have had many compliments on this particular pair and they fit as expected to size and go great with jeans, dockers, etc. Can be dressy or casual depending on your choice of wardrobe.

    Some of the best shoes that I have ever owned. They fit great out of the box and they have felt fit for the several months that I have worn them. They clean up easily and they can be worn in both casual and semi casual situations. In spite of wearing them several months, they show very little wear and look almost like new. I really like these shoes and will be buying more Rockport shoes in the future.

    I really really wanted to like these shoes. Last year, i got a pair of waterproof "Lead The Pack" Rockports last year, and I think they just might be the best, most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I wanted an equivalent pair of brown shoes, and something a little more butch, so after looking and looking at these for a long time, I broke down and bought 'em.

    I was so disappointed! The fit was just a little off, the leather was beyond butch and bordering on punitive, and they just didn't look as good as they did on screen. Sadly, I returned them, and the quest continues.

    Great shoes, and really comfortable. I live in Minnesota, and dress for my job is office casual. I bought these shoes about 2 months ago, and wear them a couple times a week. They've held up nice, and don't really show any signs of wear. Supposed to be waterproof, but since it's winter here, they've only been exposed to snow so far.

    Only downside is that the laces broke prematurely, and had to be replaced. They were a bit short and I didn't like them much anyway...one star deduction.

    This is one of the best shoes I have ever owned. It fits perfectly (I ordered a wide size). The material is very durable. It weathers and scuffs a bit, but this is a casual shoe and you expect that kind of patina on this shoe. It is extremely comfortable to wear all day. I wish I could wear them to work, but you can wear them with anything other than a suit. They look great, feel great and are all-weather shoes. Highly recommended.

    Needed a short break-in period (a couple days) but now they fit like a glove. I wear 9.5 to 10 shoes and I use inserts, so the 10-wide is perfect. I've been wearing them for about a month now, and they still look good (despite the snow). They have great traction on the snow & ice and so far have kept my feet warm & dry. Perfect for work with slacks & shirt/tie, but maybe not dressy enough to go with a suit.
