great light at a great price! everyone knows most Chinese straight from the manufacture lights tend to get a bad reputation among very pricey competition. This light in particular has all the photosynthetic nanometre's that coral utilize to stack those florescent proteins in their zooxanthellae algae banks. This being said any light at this price point that's spectrum hits true actinic violet at ~410 nm to photo red at ~660 nm is a win for the consumer. 45 minutes after installation my corals blew up in size and and began to show there colors 5 fold in comparison to the florescent and supplementary blue led's i had prior. People who are serious about there corals need to get serious about there light, thats what i did and im never turning back on this buy. 2 dimming knobs, 2 quiet fans, 2 separate on-off switches for each channel, and brightness for days.

It's only been a week, and I am running the blues at about 60% and the whites at 30% to get things used to the new light vs my old T5 light and I have to say that so far I am impressed with the lights! 2 of them over a 65g (36x18x24) and the corals all seem happier than they used to, all zoas open fuller, pavona happy, clams happy... Lights run quiet also. So far, happy to be part of the Chinese Black Box Revolution haha.

I got these lights for my 75 gallon saltwater tank. For less expensive lights they are amazing so far very very bright well built. I will be buying more of these and telling all my friends. Thanks for a great product at a great price!!! Update 1 yr later..I had these on a 75 gallon reef and they did awesome.. I have upgraded to a 125 6ft reef and bought another light. Not a moments problem out of any of the lights. Showing great growth.

Love this lighting system! We have a 28 gallon nano cube, and the retrofit LED kit burned out after only a month or two, so we needing a good solution. We took the top off, have a clear plexiglass guard over the top, and purchased a nice black curved wrought iron plant hanger to hang this from above the tank. It looks great, and was VERY easy to set up and get going. Our soft corals have EXPLODED with this excellent lighting. I would definitely recommend this, you can't go wrong with it.

The lights don't come on if the intensity is set too low. Sometimes the dials have no effect on the intensity. I've heard that potentiometers can be touchy but these were not sensitive at all. The price wasn't bad but the controls were too finicky for me. When the lights were on they did look nice and the price was right.

UPDATED: these so far are doing great, corals are all way more open than they were on kessil at my aquatic shop. My RBTA is blowing up when these lights are on.

Cheaper, than kessil and just as good. Have these 12" above my tank, hanging from a DIY job works awesome. My corals and anenome are doing well nice all open and doing fine.
