If you are looking at this is because you either have a cold sore or because you are prone to them. Look no further. Buy no more Abreva. This has acyclovir which is the prescription only medication that you might get if you go to the dermatologist due to a cold sore. On a personal experience - I felt the unmistakable tingle of a cold sore on the making I quickly applied a coat of cicloferon once every hour for the rest of the day. Woke up sore free. Please note that I attacked the sore before it filly turned into a blister. On another occasion I had the sore and started to apply cicloferon and the sore was gone by day 2 of treatment day 3 of the sore. Best ointment ever. I keep some in my medical cabinet at all times
