The buttons look and feel pretty much like the originals. I am sure they would have worked perfectly.
However, being mechanically inept, I managed to knock loose a spring in the controller and I have no idea how to put it back together. I suppose I could take apart the button mechanism on the other side, but I'm sure I'll end up with twice the problem. Now I'm down to one controller and will likely have to buy a new one after all.

Again - the button stick does look and feel like the real thing.

These caps themselves seemed to be perfect. The installation into my controllers was the worst experience! I wish I had just bought new covers for my existing sticks and not the sticks themselves. I am glad that I only tried taking one of my controllers apart as there were some pieces of plastic that were broken inside and I never truly got it back together with all buttons working. PS3 controllers are just plain difficult to work with...not a fault of this item though.

Used these analog sticks to replace the analog sticks in my gamecube controller, they fit pretty well but get stuck at first until you break them in, but they are not meant for the gamecube controller but will work, as far as the item itself its great has a good grip feel to it.

Controller knobs always seem to be the first to go. I'd rather replace the knobs ($1 ea) than buy a new controller ($50). The knobs are pretty straight forward to replace. Reassembling the controller is the tricky part. I'm a bit of a handy man and I know my way around electronics. I also have large hands which I think helped me hold all of the pieces together while aligning the 2 halves. You definitely want to ensure everything is lined up and fits right. Having patience is key. The battery and R2/L2 like to move out of place while you put it together. Make sure to test out the feel and buttons before you screw it together. Don't worry, if everything is aligned and assembled correctly simply holding it normally with 2 hands while testing it will keep it together. If it's not aligned correctly you risk buttons sticking/not working or stripping the screw holes. I don't recommend this product for everyone. You need to be comfortable with taking apart electronics, and being able to patiently put it back together. It took me about 10~15 min per controller.

Not much more to say about such item. They're are great though. To anyone who is looking, but cannot find, decent replacements for their GameCube controller sticks, these would be one of the better alternative (but does not fit in C-stick position). These also should be able to fit on a 360 controller as well.
