Doesn't work very well

I just pulled this nut cracker out of the mailbox a few minutes ago and it's already hopeless. Apparently the genius who designed it made it entirely out of plastic, so half the Macadamias you try to crack just cause the threaded "bolt" to bend around the nut and they don't crack. When you wind the bolt back it straightens out again. Only the very end of the bolt is actually metal, the rest appears to be plastic. For the other half of the nuts you try to crack, they just explode, sending pieces all over the room. Generally not a very good macca cracker. Also the nuts they sent with it were small and stale. For $21.99 I expected more. I'll be sending this back.

Adorable gift and so Yummy too:)

I ordered this for my niece who loves Macadamia Nuts! She LOVED it...adorable packing with the cutest mouse nut cracker! More importantly the macadamiz nuts are delicous! Makes you work a bit by cracking them...but so worth it:) I highly recommend this gift set!
