The product itself is very good. I recommend it. I use it with meals.

Be careful, though, because several lot numbers were recalled last year. By May i figured it was safe to order it again, and to my dismay I received a recalled bottle. The seller refunded my money immediately, but if you don't know about the recall you can potentially be using this potentially toxic product.

I spoke to the manufacturer who supposedly replaced all of the recalled bottles to its distributers, but I guess it did not ask for the defective product to be returned. Now I buy these enzymes locally so that I can check the lot number before purchasing.

You can do a search for this product recall and you will find the numbers for the affected bottles.

This is an excellent product, recommended to me by my Dr. This works as well for me as the capsules with Isogest, and it's more economical. I have trouble digesting all sugars, including those formed by the digestion of wheat. I highly recommend it!
