This delicate set of dinnerware is eye catching and goes with a variety of settings. The pattern is interesting and colorful, but muted enough to not detract and compete with other settings in a formal situation.

I've been using the set for two weeks now on a daily basis and using the dishwasher to clean them. The dishes have not faded, chipped, or shown the scratching that I have seen in other products.

One warning, these are delicate dishes. I have not had any break on me, but they are probably not the kind of china I would have put out when my kids were younger.

Still, for the price, it is a lovely and functional set of china for a very reasonable cost.

As my significant other and I are starting our lives together, this set came at a great time.

This set contains 4 settings of 4-pcs each. One large plate, one smaller, plate, one small bowl, and a mug. As the pictures show, all pieces with exception of the large plate has a bird with flower pattern.

The dinnerware is dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator and microwave safe. I've been using the set for a couple of weeks now, and they have stood up well. I've can attest that it is dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave safe, but not sure about freezer as I never put my dinnerware in there.

This set comes with 4 each of dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, and mugs. The dinner plates are fairly simple and I like them. The salad plates, bowls, and mugs all have bird and flower designs on them.

We use them pretty regularly, and they have all cleaned up great in my dishwasher.

When these arrived, one salad plate and one bowl were broken. So I would just be aware of that risk when ordering dishes. So far the rest of them have held up well, but they do seem a little fragile.

I really enjoy this dinnerware set because it looks fancy but can be used like casual dinnerware. It has held up well in the dishwasher and microwave.

Looks and use:

I like the looks of this set. It has a bright look. I like the combination of green and white and the design as well.

The dinner plate is the simplest looking of the plates. It has no design on it. It is white in
the center and green around a raised edge. I would rather not have a design at the bottom of a dinner plate.

The smaller desert or salad plate has a design on the plate. I can brush my hand over it and feel it. It looks nice. It is white in the center with green around a raised edge and a design in the center and around the edge.

The bowls are white on the inside, green around the edges and have a nice design on them. I have used them for salad, soup, ice cream and cereal.

The cups are white on the inside and green around the edge. There is a design on the cups. These cups held heat well. I have poured tea in them from a kettle and also heated hot water in the microwave. The tea is hot on the inside but the outside of the cup is not so hot you can’t touch the handle. I have noticed some colored cups or mugs tend to be very hot when I heat something in them in the microwave. These are fine.

This is a set I use with friends. It is casual but fancy enough to impress.

Care:

I have used these in a microwave to heat up food. I have also washed these in the dishwasher. They have held up fine. These don’t seem like they will chip easily.

Packaging:

These came well packaged. I have gotten dish sets in the mail that have been damaged but these are well packaged so all the items were fine.

Conclusion: This is a casual set of dinnerware that looks fancy. It has held up well. It is one of my favorite dinnerware sets.

This set has 4 settings of a mug, bowl, dinner plate, and salad plate. Though made of porcelain, I don't think they're intended for formal dining. I'm using them for everyday use (in a household of adults), but they'd also be great to bring out when entertaining friends and family. The set came very well-packaged, and there was no damage upon removal. After three months of constant use (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), they still look like new.

This set is freezer, refrigerator, and microwave safe but should not be used in the oven, broiler, or stovetop. They also warn to avoid putting very hot dinnerware on/in something very cool or vis versa or the dinnerware might crack. I've been washing them in the dishwasher since they are dishwasher safe. I use a mild detergent due to past mug designs being eroded off, and there was no sign of any design erosion. The set is also easy to clean by hand due to their shapes and lack of interior raised designs.

I have put the cups in the freezer (to further cool my smoothies) and poured hot tea into them. They are microwave safe, so I cook my oatmeal in one of the bowls each morning using the microwave. There has been no noticeable harm to the dinerware due to this "everyday" treatment. The porcelain does get very hot in the microwave. They recommend that you use pot holders to remove it and to not set it directly on the cool countertop. I follow these directions. I've also found that I don't need to cook my oatmeal so long in these bowls to get the same result. Adjusting for the fact this dinnerware gets hotter in the microwave than my stoneware dinnerware, I'm finding that this set stands up to the same type of use.

The box description calls the colors "silver" and "bronze," but they don't look shiny/metallic.Read more ›
