Got this for my 5 year old grandson who loves coins and because I had something similar (but not electronic) as a child and remembered loving having a place for secrets. As it was the present he carried with him throughout his Mad Scientist party and showed all of his friends and has mentioned it to me every time I've seen him since - I'd say it was a complete success. He loves being able to change the code. It's a very sturdy piece for a toy.

Well we have had the safe for 3 days now and my 5 year old son changed the code. Now he can not remember what it is. It SAYS if you take out the batteries it will revert back to factory code setting. However, that has no worked after 5 tries. He has put all his money from Christmas and all the money in my wallet in the safe. Needless to say my 5 year old is not happy....and neither are his parents!
