Or flowers or ocean mist. Yuk. Give me fragrance free dish soap. I prefer this to anything else because I don't want to taste artificial fragrance when I'm eating my food.

As someone who has fragrance and goodness-knows-what chemical allergies, I am so thankful I found this dish soap. I am saved from allergic reactions and massive, painful headaches. I use it in my entire home: at the kitchen pump for dishes and hand washing and in the bathroom soap pumps for hand washing. I even squirt a few drops into the toilet and use it as a toilet bowl cleaner. Regular toilet bowl cleaners with or without bleach are too rough on my lungs; and this cleans just as well so why not? I use it with a sponge on my granite countertops and I use it on my bathroom vanity. I also use it on my mop to wash my hardwood and tile floors. I'm sure Murphy's would leave a better shine, but I can't tolerate the swoon-inducing headaches or allergic reaction I get with stinky Murphy's, so I use this and it makes the floors cleaner. I honestly didn't know I used it for so much until I typed this whole paragraph. It's truly amazing!

For windows and other applications, I use 7th Gen. all purpose free & clear in a spray bottle!

This is a great all around cleaner. I highly suggest anyone with big fragrance and chemical sensitivities like me gives it a try!

This really does a good job of getting dishes clean, and best of all, it is free of toxic chemicals. It also has good suds.

The supplier was very prompt in delivering the product but the price is very high. If you can find it locally, you should be able to get it for at least half this price.

I switched to Seventh Generation dishwashing liquid over a year ago and have not looked back since. Not only does it work well on my dishes, including greasy or encrusted pans, but it is easy on my hands. A little also goes a long way.

I have to admit, though, that I actually first started buying it because it is good for the environment and was pleased that, in addition to being Green, it works quite well. Its also great to have an option that doesn't have some heavy floral scent to it as many dish washing liquids seem to have.

Because of my experience with this dish liquid, I also switched over to Seventh Generation laundry soap, which also has an unscented version.

Highly recommended for those who have issues with scented dish liquids and for those who want to be more environmentally conscious.

I like Seventh Generation. I think, by and large, they have excellent social awareness and have earned their fame for green products. In that latter section, they do an okay job. I've never used a Seventh Generation product I haven't liked, but some are better than others.

While still quite serviceable as a dish soap, this isn't the best the company has churned out. I compare this to the more humble dish soaps that just happens to have a big label. My dishes are clean and I like there isn't a weird residue like some other green dish soaps have tended to do, but this is not what I would turn to for top-quality dish washing.

The good: It's green and I get to feel somewhat good about the product. The Free and Clear aspect is true and I don't sense any unnecessary scents and whatnot. And, to top it off, this does get my dishes clean.

The bad: Nothing bad, but again, not the strongest cleaning and grease-destroying power out there.

This dish liquid did a pretty job on my dishes and greasy pans. I was a bit surprised by its cleaning power since it's 'natural' and safe for our septic system. It's costly, though, since it's not purchased directly from Costco. Anyone with a Costco membership will be able to acquire at a more reasonable rate per product. I was also impressed with this item being shipped with the opening of the bottles taped down to prevent accidental opening and leakage.

I was happy to go a little more earth friendly with this product when I noticed something unexpected. It seems to work better than the Dawn that I've used for years. Living in a rural area and having hard water, I was happy to find this out. I have to do dishes by hand now, and long lasting suds make a huge difference! I will repurchase.

I use a great CPAP sanitizing unit called SoClean that pumps ozone through the equipment in a closed environment, and it requires a cleaning solution that it calls a 'neutralizing prewash' that leaves no residue or scent or chemical traces (since the ozone can react with those things). The initial shipment of the SoClean unit includes a very tiny bottle of this exact same cleaning solution (according to the ingredients list) as the 7th Gen Free&Clear version, and it says to use 1/4 oz with 1 gallon water to clean all gear before exposing it to the SoClean ozone generator the first time (only problem is, refills of this cleaning solution through SoClean are VERY expensive!).

1/4 ounce per gallon of water! That's not a lot, and sure enough, it produces a lot of suds (I do have soft water but I've noticed that other reviewers who say they have hard water, say it makes a lot of suds for them also). So, regardless of whether you have soft or hard water (and especially if you DO have hard water), this is a really good and safe natural cleaning agent. Especially if you have chemical sensitivities! And if you have a CPAP, this is the best soap solution for cleaning your CPAP gear! And if you have a CPAP and happen to purchase a SoClean (which I recommend), you can buy this 7th Gen Free&Clear version instead of purchasing expensive refills of SoClean's 'neutralizing prewash' solution which is exactly the same thing as this 7th Gen Free&Clear, only rebottled!
