The converter outputs to a smaller screen size and resolution. Great to see on a computer but if you are looking to convert a file to watch it on a big screen tv, then look elsewhere. I regret spending money on software that was so limited and that there exists free applications that do the same.

This program is a MUST for anyone with a lot of FLV format videos. Here's why for me. Years ago I downloaded You Tube videos, and a lot of the ones I downloaded were FLV formatted. Why the problem? When I downloaded them back then, I used RealPlayer to download videos & burn CDs (with just the audio).

I could still do that today except for one thing. RealPlayer is now RealPlayer Cloud, and frankly.....SUCKS!! My operating system is Windows 7 Professional & RealPlayer Cloud crashes every time I use it! So now I can't even burn CDs with this new program. THEY REALLY BOTCHED IT UP BAD. I could use another word!

The only other program I have that will take videos & burn audio CDs with them is WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. The trouble with WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER on Windows 7 Professional is this:

That program will NOT recognize & play FLV formatted videos. Period! The only solution was to CONVERT all my FLV videos to MP4 videos. So along came this program from "Aiseesoft". IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO! And you can't beat the price. The program also says it will TRIM videos too. I haven't tried that yet, and I'll let you know in another updated review, if I ever get around to doing that. I hope to soon.

I HAD HUNDREDS & I DO MEAN HUNDREDS OF OLD FLV FORMATTED VIDEOS.All I did was to put all those files in one folder, and loaded that folder into the program. It went through all the videos one by one, and did indeed CONVERT them to MP4 videos. Everyone of them! Now it did take it a while, but for the price what else could you ask of it.

"Aiseesoft" also has a companion program, which will DOWNLOAD You Tube videos. IT DOWNLOADS THEM AT AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE SPEED!! Faster than RealPlayer could ever think about doing it. I'm talking about SECONDS!Read more ›
