I purchased this as a gift for my sister. The product description doesn't mention the printing on the leather cover, but it reads, "Warm record. . .n years later accidental open in warm in forever." Yes, I typed that correctly. It is a lovely little journal with gibberish embedded in the leather cover. I can't give this as a gift, it is ridiculous.

The journals look just like they do in the picture, the only issue is that the message on the front is supposed to be written in English but makes no sense. Was going to give this as a gift, but changed my mind after reading the nonsensical message.

For the price, this is a nice little journal. The red is much darker and more drab than the photo, which I'm not really fond of. I would call it rust or brick red (see my photos). The little charms are actually pretty nice quality and have lots of detail.

Personally, I think the words on the cover are hilarious! It couldn't make any less sense! It is quite a conversation starter if anyone reads it.

It took very long to come!!!!!!! I wasn't expecting it would come like this. It was smaller than I thought! In the pictures it looked bigger. It was the size of my hand and my hands are small. 😞The reason why I was upset seeing the size is because I got it as a gift ... And was Plan on getting me one but when I got it I changed my mind.

Just arrived and not anywhere near as nice as one I had ordered last year. Golden edges are a dirty tan color and size is 1/3 the size of my previous journal. It would be a major improvement if the mm measurement were transcribed into American measure for a better understanding of what we were purchasing. Not happy with purchase.

There are several versions of this notebook around anazon and they all look alike. I chose this particular journal because it was cheaper and had a vintage look to it. I chose the red one. It's good for a person who is on the go because of its size. It's a small journal with tanned blank pages. I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning to use it as a diary unless you like to keep your diary passages short. Remember that this is a small journal.

I bought this for a gift for a person that writes his own lyrics to music. I liked the fact that it was small enough to carry in a back pocket (guy) but had enough room to actually jot down words and ideas. The color was very nice. I wasn't too fond of the imprint of words on it. I would have rather it be a solid color with no writing on it. I liked the leather rope that bound it together, but could have done without the key on the end of it.
Overall, it was a great purchase and I will definitely be buying it again. Although probably for myself this time around.

Very nice little journal. Cover is not as smooth as the brown one I also bought. Has more of a papery texture rather than leather-like. I didn't realize it when I bought it, but the charm on the top is actually a book mark. Very nifty. The pages are a little ugly, as they are a yellowish color. Not a big deal though. Pages are not lined. I am using this as a book for letters and memories for my children and I think it will work out well for that purpose.
