The world of double strollers is a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation. I have owned Phil & Teds Navigator (sold), B-ready (sold), and Kinderwagon Hop (sold with reluctance). You either go side by side and hog a sidewalk, doorway, or shopping aisle, or you go tandem and a rider loses a view, and caregiver has to push a train of kids that turns like a mac truck. Or you have a tight tandem with no space really between kids that solves that (see the Kinderwagon Hop), but sacrifice some longer outing comfort. You just can’t win.

Joovy is boldly taking on a UK brand with the Micralite TwoFold co-branded and rebranded as Joovy TooFold. The original Micralite Fast-folds were probably too weird looking to catch on in the US despite lots and lots of cult stroller fan favorites. When you give up turning your stroller into a shopping cart and drink caddy, you appreciate the brilliance of fat rear air tires and small wheels as spider-like as it may be. Strange looking, yes, but strangely adaptable, too.

Almost all of the reviews on the Toofold in the US from Joovy are promoted. Lots of pros, short list of cons. And Joovy did not contribute to this review, in case anyone might think this is another of those reviews. Ha! Anyhow, the cons are HUGE ones for lots of parents. I challenge you to get over them and give this stroller another look. I will help them (Joovy) try to sell this stroller, because I LOVE IT and I paid for it myself. Ahem. Here goes…

CONS

-Tippy. A hot breath or a feather can make this go over. This is the price you pay for such great responsive zippiness. And for a true ONE handed push with a heavy toddler in the front seat.
-No storage.

So I got a good deal on this new off another site. It came and I used it 2 times and the seat is ripping. I have a 29 lb child. I called joovey and since it was not an authorized dealer they will not service the product. I don't mind spending a lot on a stroller if it's quality and will last. So far this is a fail falling apart and bad service. Before buying this I read some reviews and it seems like most if not all got the product for free. Well here is my review for it. It's a cool design and it folds up small and long so it may be tough for some cars we have a van and truck so it's not an issue for us. The seat seems comfortable my son does not complain but it's not holding up and his feet just dangle. The basket is small but usable and the board is nice if we had 2 kids. One of ours is still cooking. It is top and back heavy so you can not put anything on the handlebars without a kid in the seat. We have found it to be a pain always shifting gear to accommodate if he wants to walk or ride. It's a neat design and it rolls ok the front wheels are light with no one in the seat. But it's not worth the trade off for us for a lighter stroller and no storage. My husband and now myself both still love our britax. I took a chance and lost.

We love this stroller. We use it as a single, single sit and stand, and as a double for our two girls. My husband loves it because it is easy to use and is so versatile. It looks cool too, reminds me of a robot :)

There are only two things that can be improved on.

1. The sunshade is small and does not block sun at all. But this was easliy solve by buying after market universal sun shades. We got the Olive + Oliver SimpleShade Universal Stroller Shade, Raspberry based on another reviewer's suggestion. But we liked the Manito Sun Shade for Strollers and Car Seats - Blue (7 Available Colors) instead which was a lot cheaper too.
2. The storage basket is pretty small.

Everything else is great. It's handles well and is easy to push even with our two babies (3 year old in the back and 6 month old in the front seat). It's pretty narrow compared to some inline doubles and can get through tight spots. It stands on it's wheels and can be rolled like a hand truck when folded.

Other than the second seat, there are no other removable pieces. It's like a transformer that you can fold into different configurations without having to take off and add on additional accessories and seats. This was the biggest selling factor for us when we were looking for a stroller especially after using the Orbit Baby G3 system. In comparison, the G3 is very modular and everything has to come apart for stowing. It gets old when you have to lug so many pieces around.

The TooFold is a very versatile stroller and that is an understatement. It works as a single stroller, a stand on tandem stroller, a double stroller (with the purchase of the TooFold rear seat), and a great shopping stroller thanks to the large waterproof shopping bag that it comes with. What I really love about the versatility of this stroller is the fact that it is SO easy the change things up. Going from a single to a stand on tandem can be done hands free, which is awesome when you are juggling multiple children.

The stroller can fold using one hand and it stands on its own.

The basket is larger than I originally thought. I originally didn't think that it would even hold my diaper bag, but it does! It holds my diaper bag as well as a lunch bag with a little room to spare. And although there is no access to the basket from the rear, additional rear storage is available in the form of the large waterproof attachable shopping bag Joovy has included.

The canopy clicks into place and has a zippered pocket on one side that is perfect for a cell phone or keys and on the other side there is a cup holder that is great for storing my daughter’s bottle. Although it is not a large canopy, Joovy had the foresight to include and attachable canopy extension that makes all the difference.

The handles on the TooFold can move and be repositioned to accommodate your needs. We are constantly switching this feature up depending on where my kiddos are sitting/standing.

The padded seat liner is removable, washable, and durable. Since it is mesh it breathes well and is soft and comfy for my little ones. It provides a nice little cushion to sit back and relax in.

This is a great stroller for active families! We love it. It works great in the snow, on the sidewalk, and on the trail.

I was provided a sample of the Joovy TooFold for the purposes of a blog review {Mom Mart}, regardless all thoughts and opinions are my own.
