    Just received this coat today...very cute, but not a winter coat. Disappointed because my daughter loved the color but it is not thick enough to hold up to the KS wind here. Fit was big on my 5 year old. Sleeves were very long. I did not like the nylon lining. I prefer fleece. It also has a double zipper. There is a faux fleece insert that zips inside and then the coat zips outside of that. This feature would be confusing for my 5 year old.

    Very nice for the price. Just right for west coast winter. Have two zipper enclosure. The interior fleece part just lines the zipper, neck, and sleeve (hand opening) area. The lining inside is just nylon. The hood is detachable.

    My one major complaint-The sleeves are rather long, and since it has the faux fleece lining on the inside, makes it rather hard to roll up the sleeves.

    *Edit: After having my little girl put this on when the weather finally turned cold, she figured out something that I missed...There are thumb holes on the side of the sleeves (the faux fleece inner sleeves) and once she slips her thumbs through it the long sleeves become a handy little mock finger-less glove

    The coat maybe a little on the large size but I order it that way to have her get more wear out of it. She loves the fur around the hood section, will keep more of the cold air off her face. The coat itself is very warm with two layers noted on the inside. Zippers work fine and are out of plastic and not metal so I don't have to worry about rust.

    Very cute jacket! I'd say it's medium-weight--nice and warm, but perhaps not enough if you live where the winters are very cold. For us, this is perfect for colder days. It does seem to run a bit large though. I bought the 6x (lg) for my 6 ye old and it's long on her; even my 10 yr old can squeeze into it.

    Although it's Little Girl's jacket, it runs big, which I'm happy with it. I purchased a Small, when I received it, it really looks like normal 4T or even larger size.

    The fabric is very very neat, and the inside zipper is interesting.     Not actually a double coat (does NOT have a removable interior jacket, it's just made to look like it does). It's a decent weight everyday coat for Tennessee climate. Will have to layer up if we get snow to play in though. 5 year old loves it and it is really cute on.

    This coat was PERFECT weight winter coat! It feels light in weight, due to the filling, which makes it super warm for our Iowa winters-- perfect for little girls who don't like the restrictions of a big heavy puffy coat! was light enough she could run around the playground, go skiing, without any restrictions, but heavy enough to keep her warm riding the snowmobile.Had great features: Gator- ended cuffs ensure the cold doesn't get in the gap between the mitten & cuff, a zip-off hood so you won't ruin the fur when you wash it, and the inner -zipper provides that extra coverage on the neck. this was by far her favorite coat so far, I only wish they had it in bigger sizes because I would buy this every year for her :-(BONUS: My daughter got 2 seasons out of it!
