Have it set up now for a while, and it is truly worth the money to have this level of through put on my network.

Was using a hub, and than learned about the difference between switches and hubs and made a diligent search comparing performance, and price and came back to this one on Amazon. Great product, price, timely delivery, well packed and easy as pie to set up.

I am setting up our network for true gigabyte performance and this together with the router and cable modem and new "Burst/Blast" speed should do the job for the next few years, while waiting for whatever INTERNET speeds will develop, to catch up to new gear.

PROS: User Friendly Packaging; Slimline Form Factor.
CONS: Top Mounted LEDs.

Product delivered as promised and in excellent condition. It was easy to unbox and install. I currently have it installed in my bedroom setup and it has not caused any problems. I plan to move it to my main system and use it as the gateway extension to my router.

The packaging is a very simple cardboard box, from which the device is easily removable. Its size allows it to easily slip in the small space between to top of my preamp and the bottom of the shelf above it. My "only" complaint is that I wish the product's LEDs were on the front panel so that I might be able to stack a smaller device on top it (like my Roku 3 Player).

I've tested the product using streaming via Netflix over my Roku 3, and Amazon via my LG Blu-ray player without any issues. When I move it to my main apparatus setup, it will channel my 1GBps internet connection to the devices in my entire home. From the testing I've done, I don't expect any problems as it's faster than the hub/switch I current have installed.

I can not believe how nicely built this switch is for the price. No problem with gigabit speeds even when multiple devices are transferring at the same time. If you are looking for a non-managed switch for home or a small business environment you can not go wrong with this product.

Netis? Sorry. I've never heard of them. But after purchasing and installing their ST3124G 24-port 10/10/1000 Mbps switch as the core network switch in our home office hub, I am impressed. I used the Netis switch to replace an aging, but still functional Dell PowerConnect 2716 switch. While the specified per port throughput of the Dell is he same as the Netis (1 Gbps,) the performance is radically different.

True, I haven't run and performance measurements as of yet. However, access to my network services was immediately, noticeably faster.

True, the Netis is an unmanaged switch while the Dell PowerConnect is managed. However, I've had the Dell switch installed in the network hub for nearly five years now and I can't tell you the last time I managed it--if ever. I manage our RAID 10 file server regularly. I manage our central firewall often. But manage the core network switch? Never!

I've never heard of Netis before. But after installing and using their ST3124G 24-port 10/10/1000 Mbps switch, I can promise you that I will look for their network products in the future.

Was having issues with my tiny D-Link 5 port switch. The D-Link did offer gigabit and was super small, but was have disconnecting issues with my 4ktv, PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Dedicded on this unit due to the great reviews and low price. I was going to purchase a Linksys version, but didn't feel like spending 3x the money.

Only issue is size. This is much bigger than my D-link 5 port switch, and had to move some equipment around in media center, but well worth it.

Unit is decently made . It's rated faster than my equipment so I can't attest to it's rated speed. Runs cool and has been reliable with no bottlenecks. It's shape is not as compact as some, but still, it's attractive and low profile. It has two slots on back so it can be flat mounted to a wall with ease, if so desired. LEDs or the tint for them is a dim orange so they are plenty visible yet not too bright to bother any one at night. Bought two. Would buy again if needed.
