Gotta remember to insert the drive quickly and all the way in for it to work in USB 3.0 mode.
USB 2.0 mode is around 44 read and 33 write.
Seems well made and has a rubber enclosure around the drive. The cap is rubber. The rubber is smooth so it doesn't pick up lint and stuff.

I absolutely love this jump drive. I own several drives and while I'm partial to Kingston anyway (they have great customer service) this particular jump drive is lightning fast! I've never seen my files transfer so quickly! The case of the jump drive is rubbery which is great in case I ever drop it. It is a tight fit to get it into my laptop's USB port but it does fit, so no complaints there. This thing is awesome. I'm so happy I bought it. I would definitely buy it again and have already recommended it to friends.

Really like the design except for being a little bit too wide, can't put two together in usb slots beside each other, these flash drives come formatted in fat 32 file system and are very fast with usb 3.0 file transfer! I would most defenitly recommend these!

According to the Crystal Disk Mark, the sequential write speed is 21.88 MB/s and Read speed is 37.07 MB/s: not even close to the throughput advertised on the product description. I am really disappointed as I payed more to get speed equivalent to cheaper models.

This is my first "water proof" tough drive and so far so good. I am a surveyor and well needless to say hard on my thumb drive's. I use them a lot in the field to pass data to other crews and to transfer data to and from my computer. This one so far has made it threw a swamp and some construction sites and though it's still early, seams to be holding up better then those i have had in the past.

Very fast, very quick load times on computers. Would definitely recommend 5/5, by far the best USB I've got my hands on.

Only annoyance is the rubber slit to put it in a keychain is kinda in the way and doesn't really sit comfortable in the keychain. Besides that its good stuff.

This is a very fast and reliable flash drive. I build and repair computers and have several flash drives for backing up client files ahead of repairs and for carrying around the utilities and programs I need for onsite work. The three USB 3 drives I use most are this Kingston, a Team F108 32GB, and an Adata UV128 32GB. This Kingston consistently and easily outperforms the other two, and I like the enclosure much better too. The only thing I would change is the removable top. It does fit securely on the other end, but I wish it had a tether because I know I will eventually lose it.

You can buy cheap flash drives, or you can buy fast flash drives. This is fast. I got 146MB/s Read and 30MB/s Write speed tested on my Windows 10 laptop with SSD and USB 3.0. Yes this is twice as high price as some other flash drives of the same capacity, but I can tell you from experience they won't have the speed. If you use it much I would spend the money on this. If it is more of a write once and store situation maybe go cheap. For me this was totally worth the price, which still seems pretty reasonable to me!
