I too am using this product for non PC purposes. I use it on sear engagement surfaces of firearms triggers for lubrication. I like that it uses a synthetic grease which has a thick flowing consistancy which can be applied with a toothpick. Once applied it stays in the area where applied. If the part can tolerate being heated the carrier grease will flash off at 450 degrees without turning to carbon and will leave the moly on the item.

Okay, I have to admit- I'm not using this as intended...
I put this stuff on my guns, it's much butter then normal gun grease.
it's really dark grey, stains everything it touches, and makes metal slick as snot.

I am also going against the grain and not using this for the intended purposes. After initial cleaning I used this on a patch to coat the inside of the barrel, BCG, and other high heat and friction points on my 458 SOCOM. So far it seems to work great and clean up is much faster.
