Directions

Hot Cereal Instructions:Add cup Muesli to cup water or milk and bring to a boil. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. You can also microwave in a large bowl on high for 3 to 5 minutes stirring once during cooking. Makes 2 servings.Cold Cereal Instructions:Soak cup Muesli in cup yogurt, milk or fruit juice for 5 to 10 minutes (or overnight like the Swiss do) and enjoy! Makes 1 serving.Keeps best refrigerated or frozen.

I am a repeat customer for this delicious breakfast Muesli from Amazon. I mix a portion of this Muesli with non-fat yogurt and leave in Fridge overnight. It's really a great way to start your morning. Not only this, I have ordered several of Bob's Red Old Mill products. Always, top quality, good price along with free shipping. You may want to try Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats as well, very delicious. I cook the Steel Cut Oats in small Slow Cooker overnight, always delicious. Breakfast will be waiting in Fridge or Slow Cooker, so only need to make coffee and relax.

I've tried preparing this several ways, both hot and cold, but my preference now lies with hot. Here's how to get a delicious hot breakfast cereal in 45 seconds:
Soak one serving overnight in a microwave-safe covered container (l use 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla flavored Almond Milk as it adds only 8 calories, zero sat. fat, and a light vanilla flavor that truly compliments this muesli). Get up in the morning and pop it in the microwave for 45 seconds. Good to go! This and a protein drink for breakfast is all I've needed for months now.

You really don't need to cook this cereal if you let it sit in milk overnight in the refrigerator. I use almond or rice milk. Use equal amount cereal and milk.It's cold and refreshing and tastes great.
