short draw, so power is not as much as other 80lbs crossbows. But crossbow is well built, very easy to cock, sights are better than some other mini crossbows that wiggles, this one does not. Effective range max at 15 yards, after that power is really low. For the built and price...well worth it. the only negative is that the string will misfire, rub with the bolt and tears apart really easily. This is an easy fix, and it happens after you actuate the safety off. seems like when you push the safety off it creates a gap for the string to miss the bolt, thus the misfires and strings breaking problem. an easy fix if you can bend the metal spring/bolt retainer to close the gap.

Very nice quality and extremely fast shipping it only took 3 days to get here and I ordered it late at night. I would suggest it everyone who wants one. But you do have to be careful because it could seriously hurt people and animals

Get one now easy and fun to shoot liitle crossbow. Not to hard to put together as from other reviews. Durable construction and materials, build to last a long time. Very important to make sure to purchase and apply a string wax before using any bows. Would still give it a 5 star even though at first, therear iron sight is a little flimsy, moves side to side and wont hold target but an easy fix, tighten screws and a drop of locktite. It holds target upto 40ft to 50ft test so far.

It takes 3 people to string the crossbow pistol. Prop it on the table like a bow. One person holds the pistol grip against their stomach, while bending the lower bow section towards them. The second person bends the upper part of the bow towards the first person, while the third person stretches the other end of the string (the other end is over the lower bow end cap) over the top of the upper end cap. If you don't use three people, then the bow will slide off center, and you have to recenter it (trial and error). Then your 80 lb. crossbow pistol is ready for shooting.

I have needed to traverse a building ceiling with some data cable, unfortunately there was no access to run the cable for about 100 feet. I purchased a open face fishing reel(cheap) and used two zip ties and secured it upside down on the bottom. Tied the string to the arrow and presto, dart shooting devise for running data cable in hard to reach places. Saved hundreds .
