For large file transfers >8MB nothing on the market can currently touch this drive. The SATA bottleneck is (obviously) not an issue. However for smaller files you can actually get a lower transfer speed than much cheaper SSD's in a RAID 0 config.

The vast majority of OS files are fairly small (only a few dozen k), so if you are planning to use this as a primary drive for your OS you may end up disappointed. I returned mine and bought a few 850 Pros and actually have better boot performance than this drive alone could deliver.

This is a great drive for a PCIE SSD. I have always been a fan of OCZ Storage but moved away from them over the last year opting for the Data Fusion 480 GB PCIE SSD, which also is a great drive, and really tough to beat for the money. This unit may actually do it. It is a little bit more expensive but it defiantly has the power. I am getting 1495 MBPS Write and 1530 MBPS Read. Very fast.....

Update 7/8/14

I have been using this drive for several weeks now and it still is working great. I have had no issues or errors or blue screens. I am still getting phenomenal read / write speeds. This is a fine product from OCZ......

Using in an HP Proliant DL160 Gen9. Works very well. Only miss is that these don't show up as bootable UEFI devices. But, once the drive is loaded into the OS, they are fast and stable. Much better than Mushkin equivalent, for a 1U rack chassis (see my other view). I've had two of these for about a week. I tried many alternatives, including a DIY mSATA drive and SAS connector based drive array (using Storage Spaces)... In retrospect, the Revodrive is the way to go.

I have owned many SSD's, both PCIe and Sata3. Extremely fast and high quality. Includes Toshiba Toggle NAND which is the fastest. ATTO speeds are faster than OCZ/Toshiba advertises. My speeds are 2,060 Reads and 1,960 Writes! Highly Recommended.

This unit is much improved over the prior Revodrives. Have had the drive for several months without problems. It is fast, with the capability of using TRIM, even though the drive is "faux" RAID 0. The upper limits to using PCI-E hard drives is approaching. Faster speed will require new upgrades.

I'm a gamer, and I've had this for a couple years now and love it. I previously had 2 SSDs in RAID0, but this one drive is twice as fast as that RAID was. I've never had any issues with reliability. I have the 240GB one, and that's sufficient for the OS, lots of programs (office, photoshop, etc) that you run often, plenty of smaller games, and a few large games (not uncommon for games to take up 30GB+ nowadays). I do have to manage which games are loaded at any given time, and moved all my libraries to my HDD. It can be tricky to manage such a small main drive, but the speed / cost was worth it, and this wasn't nearly the pain that my prior 60/120gb drives were.

Con: Most games load so fast that I can't read the little tips they show on load screens lol. Have to look those up online if I care!

The card is working very nice. Fast and reliable.
Only issue it works in legacy mode only, and not on UEFI.
It's only boot in legacy mode.
Therefore first installation is forced to be from DVD drive, and not from USB stick (System must be installed from DVD).
Beside that, it's currently the best "SSD" in the market.

OCZ Storage Solutions RevoDrive 350 Series is an easy-to-use, single card solution bootable as a direct-attach device which with its 960GB provides excellent performance results for those with deeper pockets.

I was able to borrow it for some time from my company though it would be great to have it for good at home for some heavy duty work or gaming.

OCZ's VCA 2.0 technology resulted in this device being extremely fast with writing speed cca 1500 MB per second and reading cca 1900 MB per second.

Therefore if you could afford it, OCZ RevoDrive 350 is highly recommended solution of high quality for which you will at all times be aware how much money you have given.
