It's ok not great. Barrel is super slippery so if your hair is somewhat fine, this iron doesn't grab it well enough and slips out. One good thing is the power button is not where your finger accidentally bumps it- as is the case with many others. But I would not choose this one again because of the slippery aspect

The barrel of the curling iron is really big and for me, the metal stand keeps getting in the way. The barrel is also coated and my hair kept sliding off of it. The temperature adjustment is a nice feature and the high setting gets hot. For me, this is awkward to use, thus the 2-star rating.

This curling iron holds up well. The cord is sturdy. The barrel feels a bit short at times but it does not pull my hair. The barrel is smooth. The only complaint I have is that the two control dials are right where you are working with the curling iron so it is easy to adjust the temperature and not know it. I put a piece of tape over both since I keep the temperature at the same place and it works fine. It is better than similar brands, as I've tried those already.
