I was looking for a lockable bag (or something) that I could fit in my purse to carry some medication in (a controlled rx, meaning if anything were to happen to it I can't get a replacement, I'd have to wait until my next refill was due). This is *PERFECT*. I got this along with the Master Lock 5900D SafeSpace Portable Safe, Gunmetal Grey - the safespace thing was HUGE - much larger than I expected & way too big to carry around in my purse on a daily basis. This on the other hand is pretty much exactly what I needed.

The bag itself is very thick - definitely has multiple layers of padding (I assume to make it harder to cut through). It also has a little loop on one side so you can secure it to something else if need be. The lock itself is a bit clunky, but that's to be expected when it comes to a bag with an attached combination lock. The zipper is the metal clasp that locks to the combination dial. I've already reprogrammed the combination (well - of course I set it initially - but I changed it after a few days of use is what I mean) & that was super easy to do.

I realize that this is not going to keep people out - obviously if someone wants to steal this they can & with a bit of effort they can get it open - but if you're in a situation where someone might try to sneak a few of something & think you won't notice - this is perfect. And honestly I've always found it best to lock things up - even if you don't think any one would take them. Horrible product. I have bought three and each have broken. The metal is cheap and breaks at the zipper plus the lock pops open on any combination that is on the dial. I will never buy another Vaultz product after this last bag.

First one I received; 9/10 the lock didn't open with my set combo. I returned it and got a replacement: the hinge on the lock/zipper (which is metal) snapped off into 3 pieces within 3 days of use (only open 2x/day. Would not recommend spending your money on one of these. The idea is great, and it would be a nice product if only it was made well!

Hard to use, I bought two and i haven't used one pouch because the lock doesn't work. I set my own combination numbers in one pouch and it won't open the pouch and there is no way to reset it again. So worthless if I can't use it. I read the Web site and it says once you set the numbers once they can not be changed, but doesn't give instructions if the first numbers you enter do not open the pouch then you are stuck.

Do not buy! Lock will pop easily whether or not combo put in is right or not. Was looking for a secure bag for cruise cash. I am returning this tomorrow

I bought this to help keep control of some meds in my house. Thought it was working great and bought two more. Then I realize first one doesn't really require correct combo to open anymore. When you have someone who wants in it, they will get in. I am very disappointed. Since I bought two more recently I tried the second one. With a little jiggling it opens as well. It isn't as secure as you think it is. And you won't know that someone has been in there bc you just put the lock back together. Can I give less than one star?
