These are perfect, I used 12 of them to mount a 48ft. incandescent rope light from Home Depot high on the wall of a screened porch. To mount them I used clear double-sided Gorilla Tape, a 1.5 inch piece on each end and 1 inch in the middle. When the lights are turned on, the channel disappears. I'm very happy with these and with the vendor who shipped them via FedEx Ground in a well-padded box. Recommend highly.

Excellent product. I bought 20 of these for the same shipping cost. I used Gorilla Glue to stick them underneath our retaining wall. Cutting them was easy with a utility knife.
Tip: leave about 4 inches gap between the two strips. This will provide the wiggle room while fitting the LED string lights, if these strips are not perfectly aligned.

Perfect for mounting 3/8" rope lighting to whatever you want, just add double sided tape or Velcro. I hated the way the rope lighting sagged when I attached it to the arms of my RV awning even when using Velcro straps every foot. But with this, I added clear Velcro tape to the awning arms and the channel, attached it and pressed in the rope lights and now it looks sharp! Thank you!

I purchased these channels before because I wanted a way to put rope lights along my patio cover. After I had to replace my patio cover I decided I needed to order them again. I use heavy duty double sided tape to hang them. Once all hung, the rope lights go in easy, fit perfect and look great. I would recomed them if you want a clean uniformed look to your lights.
