This is not really a light projector. It is more like a nightlight.

My first impression was not good. It is small and very cheap-looking. Also, you need to supply three batteries. The battery compartment is difficult to get into, and it is not particularly attractive once assembled.

When it is turned on, the light is faint and does not project on the ceiling. Still, I can see that many young girls will enjoy the light effects.

The most I would pay, though, is $9.99. This product is priced at more than twice that.

It is cute and has pretty colors, although the lights do not project onto the ceiling as well as I would have hoped. I have another product (stuffed animal will lights on back) that does a much nicer job of that, even though the colors and designs of this product are more interesting. Yes the plastic is cheap and thin, but overall the item does look nice once you get it set up. The small size doesn't bother me, since this is the type of item that you would probably want to rest on a night stand.

The worst feature for me is the battery compartment. A screwdriver is required! And not even a standard screwdriver will work, it has to be one of those tiny ones like for working on computers. This part of the design is terrible in my opinion.

It's not going to light up a giant room, but for the price and the simplistic design, it is worth it. My daughter loves this as her nightlight now. It only requires 3 AAA batteries. No adapter (which would have been nice) but that also means no chords to trip over. My seven year old thinks it's great, so it is doing its job.

I can't rate the function of this mushroom light because the one I got did not work. I tried two different sets of batteries and still the light would not turn on. I am sure i put the batteries in right, but this was just a defective unit. I can still review the quality of the design. it is really cute looking but feels cheap. There is NO WAY it is worth 29.00. the most I would pay for this lamp is maybe 7.99. It looks like a cheap novlety item. I would say if it cost about 6 or 7 dollars it would be worth buying. but no way for the price they are charging.

I wasn't expecting much from this, and I was still disappointed. The LED lights aren't very strong and don't reach the ceiling unless the mushroom is placed on something that is almost to the ceiling. It is also just lights. No music, no rotation, etc. The lights change colors, but that is all. The mushroom itself also looks really cheap in person. I don't recommend it.

Don't waste your money. Super cheap construction. In a pitch black room and couldn't see the lights. Very disappointed. Second day after Christmas and it's in the trash. Isn't even worth the one star I had to give it.

Images are not clear unless it is very close to the surface you want to project onto so if you want it on your ceiling it needs to be close to the ceiling which is difficult to do unless you have a tall piece of furniture you can place it on

It works ok. You just have to put it up high to be able to see the stars and flowers. Another thing is it doesn't stay on very long before it turns off. It's also battery operated. But other then that it's cute.
