Design: 4GB RAM Verified Purchase
This is the first laptop I've had to purchase in 5 years. My other one is a Dell Inspiron 1545 and it's still going strong, but I knew it was time to upgrade. I bought the Lenovo because a tech friend of mine said it is one of the most dependable brands available and they really know how to make the most of what they put together. With that being said, after this initial boot up and setting it all up, the interface took a little getting used to (my Dell is on Win7) and I did noticed that it boots up a LOT faster than my Dell - it can take my Dell up to several minutes to fully boot up.

The weight is great! It is so much lighter than my Dell. I also LOVE that there is a 10-key number pad on it! I saves so much time for me and there's not much difference in the key sizes from my Dell. Also, for the price that I got this Lenovo, I really can't complain at all. So far it performs admirably and I have no complaints regarding performance, size or weight.

Have never been happy with laptops, but decided to give this brand a try. It is annoying that there is no users guide, but that is certainly not unusual. Clear picture and nice sound. I have no idea what the not fast and good for nothing comments are about, but for personal use it is fast unless you require fire and lightening with your computer. It is bigger and much heavier than I expected and perhaps that is a very good sign as the disaster laptops were very flimsy and not worth the trouble. I have read good things about this brand for several years and so far am very happy with it.

I am so happy with this laptop!!! It gives me everything I need and at such a low price! I only paid $280 for mine. I needed something inexpensive, so I thought I would have to deal with a really slow laptop, but it's just as fast as my last one that was alot more expensive. Watching videos, having several tabs open at once---all works at a perfect speed. I can't see why I would even need anything more than what this laptop has to offer. I LOVE it!! (Lenovo G50-45; 80E3; 4GB memory, 500 Harddrive; AMD6)

The most disappointing thing for me was that this laptop was advertised as being equipped with the newest edition of Word, when in fact it only gives you the option to subscribe to Office 365. Additionally, it was jam-packed with bloat ware and ad ware, which, while easy enough to delete, is EXTREMELY annoying to have in the first place. But! After taking off all the annoying ad ware and such, and deciding to make do with Google Drive and One Drive, this is a pretty good laptop. Especially at the price point.

I love this computer. I didn't buy it off of Amazon. I bought it in store at Best Buy for $400 instead of $450. Saved me a bit of money. I have the 8gb of RAM, 1TB, AMD A6 Quad-Core Processor. I don't like Windows 8.1 or any Windows for that fact. But because this is my school computer and for ease, I kept the Windows 8.1 so that I can use Microsoft word. Anyway, the computer has insane boot times and the speeds of the computer are awesome. I run Kali-Linux when I'm not at school and all the functions that I use on that version of Linux works great! Most computers can't run Kali without needing additional upgrades. I'm very happy with this computer and since Lenovo is owned by IBM I couldn't pass it up. It's a must buy! Make sure you get the 8gb of RAM instead of the 4gb of RAM if you want faster speeds.

Wow! I just received my laptop and I'm impressed! Thin screen and a lot bigger than what i thought it would be. I purchased the 15.6 inch for $450 with 8gb ram and 1 Tb HDD which will last me forever but unfortunately the computer says i only have 891 GB HDD which is not 1Tb. 1Tb = 1024 Gb so i was cut short about 140 Gb. I did talk to customer service and said i could either return the laptop with a full refund or keep the laptop with a 15% refund. I kept the laptop with $67.35 back in my account because i really do love it and 891Gb should be just enough for me. You can always buy more storage if 891Gb HDD isnt enough. Runs very smoothly, still have to get used to the Windows 8.1 but everything is perfect! So far so good :)

We purchased this laptop to replace my outdated one that ran on XP. The Main use is for when we can't use our iPads and need a full laptop (backing up phones/files ). I rate it as ok. Screen clarity isn't that great- not defined like my old Dell. My main complaint is it's loaded with Lenovo software. If I were more computer savy and had the time, I'm sure a lot of it could be deleted but I haven't tried. It's my first time on windows 8 so that is a big adjustment . I find the keyboard to be a bit too sensitive but I haven't played around with the settings. I'm not expecting too much out of this laptop but I'm a believer in you get what you pay for...and this was cheap.
