I don't even have it installed in my wall yet, but that hasn't stopped me from plugging it in and enjoying in simply sitting on my floor. It's great, I pretty much have had it going none stop while I have been home. This is the only heating unit I have needed as it puts out a good amount of heat. I love all the options that it has, such as the various colors and amount of flame desired. So much better than the units you see in all the stores that come in entertainment units and such.
