Probably the best Amazon purchase I've ever made. For the past 8 years I absolutely insist on using Franklin Covey planners regardless of their higher price point. I typically just order from FranklinPlanner.com but hoping for fasting shipping, I checked Amazon as well. When I found the Ava binder for only $30 I was rather skeptical considering the comparable binder on FranklinPlanner was $149.95 (Giada Binder). After reading the reviews I decided to order this binder as well as the Giada Binder from FranklinPlanner.com. As predicted, the Amazon package arrived 2 days earlier than the other. When I finally had both binders in my possession it was a complete no-brainer. Though the Ava binder had a couple dents on the back cover, for only $30 it's an absolute steal! And to be honest, the Giada binder was more scuffed up and dented than the Ava. Overall, the Ava binder is absolutely lovely and great quality. I've already returned the Giada binder and feel great about saving $120!

I absolutely love my planner. I have spent the past couple years trying to only use my phone calendar or trying out other planners. I finally went back to a planner because seeing it in front of my in a layout that I prefer makes planning easier. I love the color and the softness of the leather. I have had other planners from Franklin Covey and they wear well. I wanted the magnetic closure so I could easily corral my papers without having to take time to zip everything in it. I appreciate the pockets inside the covers and the pen loop was a must-have for me. The ring size holds the perfect amount. The nice thing about a planner that has rings is that I can add sections for whatever I need, rather than trying to make someone else's ideas of sections work. I went online and searched out printables and found tabbed sheets that I printed out on cardstock and laminated for my dividers. There are hundreds of forms and lists available to print out in this size planner. I am sure I will use this planner for many years!

I'm not sure what exactly the "flaws" were...maybe it means there are a few "dents" in the leather, but it is a beautiful binder, beautiful leather...and quick shipping! I might order another color while they are still available!

Love this planner. Got into using it so much I had to move up to one with bigger rings after 6 months. Think these rings are 1 inch, which is better for carrying around but not good if you have to over pack with too much planning! There were dents in my planner cover leather but didn't affect use and can't beat the price if you want a leather binder.

It's beautiful! Just as described. For my needs I just wish I could stuff a few more papers in it and still be able to snap it closed. I don't know if eventually the leather strap with stretch and allow that or not.

The magnetic clasp is not enough for a full binder, and this one feels cheap. I've had several (too many!) planners, and it's worth it to pay a little more to get the high quality that Franklin Covey usually has.
