I chose this case after looking at a large number of different ITX cases due to its ability to fit a full-size graphics card while also using a standard SFX power supply (instead of the 1U units that a couple cases like the EVGA Hadron use). This is achieved by mounting the video card parallel to the motherboard through the use of a riser unit. You plug your card into the riser, which itself mounts on top of the motherboard and plugs into the motherboard's PCI Express slot.

This layout reduces the case width to about 4.25", great for fitting it into a media center as an HTPC-- the case volume is only 14 liters, compared to the EVGA Hadron (16 liters) or the Bitfenix Prodigy (36 liters). The case can sit horizontally (and looks like an audio receiver when you do) or vertically, with rubber feet included for both orientations.

Valve's reference Steam Box is even smaller (only about 7 liters), but uses the same Silverstone riser card system, so this is a pretty good approximation. The tradeoff of a larger size is not having to use custom cabling like Valve did and an overall easier build, plus room for better cooling.

The case is roughly divided into two halves. The left side holds the video card and accommodates anything up to a Titan. The video card screws into a large support bracket which you remove from the case for easy installation. On top of the support bracket there are mounting areas for two 2.5" drives and one slimline slot-load optical drive. (No external eject button, so ejecting will be software-only.) The right side fits the motherboard, SFX power supply, and one 3.5" drive on top of the power supply mounting bracket.Read more ›

Amazing case - ONLY 4 inches wide! Great for my Manhattan apartment. Built a sick system with an Intel 4970K processor, 16gb of ram and an ITX-sized MSI Radeon 270X graphic card. I got FOUR Nocturna 120mm fans in this puppy AND a H60 Corsair radiator for a great water cooled set up using Two of the Nocturna fans in a push/pul set up. Tip - get the 600W power supply as it comes with Silverstone's flat cable set (a $30 value), which you really need to build a system this tught - the cheaper 450W power supply doesn't come with the flat cords, so you'll eat up any savings vs the 600w power supply when you add in the cost of the flat cable set. Here's some pics of my build as I was putting it together. Water cooling is possible!

First of all,
I just couldn't wait for this case to release since the first minute I heard about it.
It's so sleek, it's nice and cozy and all the parts I got fit really nice inside!

Here's a small limitations checklist for anyone willing to buy this case.

1. You NEED an SFX power supply, there just isn't any room for a bigger PSU.
2. If you really need an Optical drive, this case ONLY supports Slim Slot-load Optical drives (These can be pretty pricey)
3. As stated this ONLY takes Mini-ITX or DTX motherboards, but that's common sense. If you are getting a small case why would you buy a full size motherboard?
4. As for a CPU Cooler, as stated in the manual, "The RVZ01 has an 83mm height limitation for CPU Coolers" So do your research accordingly!
5. For Graphics Cards It can take consumer graphics cards up to 13 Inches
6. Depending on your CPU Cooler you may have to get some Low Profile RAM

You can still buy a normal 3.5" HDD or 2.5" SSD, (There's a special spot above the PSU for a 3.5" HDD)

Great size and capability. The build is strong and airy.

NOTE: for a slim disk drive you will need a cable, NOT AN ADAPTER. An adapter will stick out too far for cables to attach.

Pros: Looks alright. Sturdy enough. Good airflow.

Cons: A bit cramped. Cable management is hard as heck. The front IO panel cables are nearly 1.5x as long as the case. All that extra cable has to go somewhere. Also, the graphics card support plastic piece can't really be put in a position to support the card very well (i.e. the support is closer to the part of the card that is already supported, rather than the part that's hanging out.) Also, with everything in place, the case got every so slightly warped and doesn't go back together 100% flush. It's not noticeable at all from looking at it, but there are stresses on the case in places I'd rather there not be.

Cons when paired with a SILVERSTONE ST45SF-G 450W power supply: Both of these products are made by SilverStone. You'd think they'd be a bit more compatible. But no, it's impossible to get SATA and power to a DVD drive through the provided cable management channels. The spacing on the SATA power line also doesn't line up with the 2.5" bays. I get that they probably weren't designed by the same engineers in one department, but still, the whole build was kind of awkward with this combo.

Nitpicks: I was short a couple of screws. I had extra from a previous build, but it's kind of annoying that there weren't enough by default.
