Outstanding product, exactly what I expected. My email setup was easy and simple so now I get notification of home security activity on my phone. This makes extended excursions away from home feel a lot more connected.
You will need the current version of the administration software to add this to your existing system and perhaps a firmware upgrade to your HAI OmniPro II.

Well, unless you have PC access for dealers, don't purchase this. It will cost you double to get this AND the software. I've had the unit a week trying to troubleshoot it with my HAI installer and after a call to HAIs phone service, they confirmed that PC access for end users won't work to change anything on this unit. Still waiting for the dealer version to arrive. I'll change/update this review once I can actually set up the unit.

Reliability issues seem to be common, issues negotiating a network connection properly (is it full duplex or half duplex at 10M)

The Leviton Email Notifier works sometimes which is a major issue. Changes network MAC addresses when it receives updates and if you really think email to text is good - it is not. I wish they had true text messaging capability.

What does work - time updates. As you may have read in one of my previous posts about the Omni, the Omni couldn't keep time and required updates from PC often. Now, with this Email Notifier, just plug a second network cable (yes 2 connections) into your Leviton Email Notifier and leave the existing one connected to the Omni controller and your email board will help the system keep time with whatever source Leviton has chosen. You can't access the time settings so you're at Leviton's mercy but - HEY - at least you can get network time now.

Hoping to see a reliability update soon and a texting module (which hopefully won't require a third network cable).

Do not purchase this board. The messaging works for one or two days and then you have to reset the board. Needs a firmware upgrade. C'mon Leviton get with the program
