I was nervous to use this item so it sat in the box for a week after I received it. I finally used it to make zucchini spaghetti and cannot get enough of it. The product is easy to use and easy to clean. Bonus! I will be using this weekly if not more. I would recommend it to anyone especially those looking to get in more vegetable in a creative manner.

This is an amazingly easy kitchen tool. Since purchasing it 2 weeks ago I have used it five times. I have only used it with zucchini but I imagine squash or carrots work work just as well. I chop the end of the zucchini off, insert it into the the spiral slicer and twist like a pencil. I put the noodles into a bowl with spaghetti sauce on top and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. An easy way to get my 7 year old to eat his veggies. :)

When I first got my vegetable slicer, I planned on using it just to create garnish spirals with carrots and cucumbers to spruce up the appearance of meats I cook on the grill. I didn't realize that I could make whole meals with this compact slicer.

My wife will see more of me in the kitchen, especially with the Curly Hash Browns idea I found in the Bonus Slicer Manual I received.

I bought this specifically for zucchini. I have used both the "spaghetti" side and the "linguini" side. This is very easy to use (it works just like a pencil sharpener) but somewhat difficult to clean as food tends to stick around the holes in the blades (which by the way very sharp). For making zucchini "pasta" I am very pleased with the product.

Favorite cooking gadget right now! I have made so many different meals using zucchini noodles as a base, and I'm loving how easy it is now to get veggies into my diet!

Pros:
- two different size blades for different size noodles
- convenient cleaning brush and grip
- easy clean-up
- uses almost the entire zucchini (If you use the hard root end as a grip, you can use practically all of it!)
- seems sturdy and well-made
- stores easy (huge deal when you are addicted to kitchen stuff like I am)

Cons:
- so far, none!

Will update in a couple months to see how it stands up to near daily use, and maybe I'll try some other veggies!

This compact product is easy to use, easy to clean, cuts nicely and saves time and space in the kitchen. My favorite thing to make is salads and purchasing this slicer was a great investment. I will be ordering more for holiday gifts.

I had high hopes for this, since I love pasta but don't tolerate wheat well. I read the reviews, and was torn, but took a chance on it. And here's what I've experienced:
1. Take a look at it when you take it out of the box--that is the last time you will ever see it truly clean. I tried crevice tools, scrub brush, etc, and there is just no good way to clean it.
2. It doesn't always slice correctly. Instead of strings, you end up producing super wide flat slices. Not cool when you are trying to make foe "pasta", and also ends up cooking inconsistently since the slices are all different sizes.
3. Not that user friendly. I find it hard to hold onto while twisting the vegetables in it. (And one of the stainless steel handles came off in my hand the 2nd time I used it.)
Overall, I'm just not sure the performance and quality are par for the price.
