I didn't know how long it would take her to go in and try it out, especially after reading some of the reviews. But our new alley stray loved it right away! We tossed a couple of treats inside after plugging it in, and she hopped right in. Then she curled up and fell asleep! We took the plastic door off for now. It isn't that cold yet and she seems to like having it open. I'll write again after the winter and let you know how it held up. We live in Chicago and this will be on our porch. So we are planning on how to keep it away from snow, etc. It was a bit tricky to get it zipped, but patience and a gentle hand did the trick!

I think he like it. Weather here is not bad at all, I just want to make sure my cat is cozy at night. The pad's heat is very weak if the cat is not in it. I don't know how warm it is when he sleeps in the house, I guess warm enough for the weather here (never freeze).
