    First off, you need to know that onesies / bodysuits are cut different from every company and are even cut different if made in different years at the same company. See end of this review for my strategy to deal with onesies successfully.

    In general, Gerber brand runs small and is good for babies that are long and thin or if you have a preemie. The Gerber fabric is also slightly see-through so you can see the line on the diaper change from yellow to blue (shows when needs changed) without having to undress. We bought size newborn in the bear pattern. They fit our newborn baby the first three weeks (my baby's birth weight was 8lbs 1oz and lost weight then went back up again in weight to 9lbs).

    This is my onseie strategy that worked:
    1. Buy a range of brands and sizes of onesies. My baby was long and thin and chunked up before growth spurts - he fit well into companies like Carter's, Gerber's, Little Me, and Old Navy. Old Navy in particular has the best 100% cotton snap up pajamas for newborns (the under 7lbs pjs worked for my infant up to 9 lbs). Old Navy also carries larger size nightgowns for babies (beyond 3 months) which I could not find anywhere else. Also, they come in sizes all the way through 24 months so if you really like a particular pattern, you can buy it in multiple sizes that slightly increase so you actually get to enjoy that outfit for more than 1-2 wearings (because babies grow so fast).
    2. DO NOT buy premee onsies from Gerber unless you know your baby is going to be born way too early as these are very small.
    3. Buy 1 pack of Gerber newborn onsies ONLY if you know your baby will be around 8lbs or less at birth....    Read more ›

    Two bucks a pop for soft clean comfy cotton baby onesies? That's a steal! I mean, I've never had children of my own, so I'm definitely not an aficionado of newborn products. But that still seems like a pretty darn good price to me.

    And they're simple. Straight forward. Functional. No bells and whistles or excessive flare. Just exactly what you see in the picture: an allergen-free three-clasp baby onesie.

    Cool.

    I bought this set for my best friend's baby shower. The baby's mum is a kick-butt sort of lady who makes beautiful art and sings beautiful songs; while the baby's dad is in a metal band and teaches kung fu. So you can sort of get a feel for what the little one's parents are like. And since the itty bitty boo won't give a darn what her clothes look like, I decided to design the onesies in a fashion that her funky parents would enjoy. So I bought five different iron-on patches (a ninja, a day of the dead cat, a blue Chinese fighting fish, a goofy kitten, and a skull w/ crossbones pimped out with a red hair bow), then I ironed one onto each of the onesies.

    Even just that little gesture really livened up the baby clothes. So! If you feel like using the plain onesies to bling out and gift or sell or use for your own kids, these white onesies are great for that. Or if you just need a simple affordable piece of clothing for your baby, these work for that as well. All in all, a pretty rad product.

    I ordered these and they came packaged with tape (like most onesies come). However, the tape when removed, left a strip of adhesive to the onesie that I cannot remove. It is very irritating- I have tried to hadnwash it off, machine wash, nothign removed the strip of glue/adhesive across the top of the onesie.

    I bought these to decorate at my sisters baby shower. They worked perfectly and were affordable enough to buy a few different sizes. We used Crayola fabric markers and put cardboard on the inside so the color would not bleed through. They were perfect and washed well. They are soft and easy to snap.

    Received these promptly after ordering and they were stuffed in an envelope and taped together with regular clear tape. I had to use hot water to get off some of the tape but there was no damage to the onesies.

    These onesies are tiny and inconsistent with other gerber onesies. My 8 week old can still fit in the 0-3 month gerber onesies that I have but barely fits in these 3-6 month ones. Also, the neck holes are tiny, I can barely fit her head through them even though I have no problem getting her into the 0-3 month size. I'm really disappointed in these.

    They are also pretty thin.

    I love Gerber onesies as under garments. Unfortunately, these 0-3 months turned out to be only slightly larger than the plain white newborn sized ones. My son is 8.5 lbs and there is no room to grow. How on earth would these fit for the next 3 months?? Meanwhile, the Gerber sleep and plays run large and he's still wearing the newborn ones. Frustrating.
