My cats all love this as much as if it were treats. This is their favorite kibble and I've tried a lot of them out there. I can feed them this kibble throughout the day and their weight stays trim because its does not have all the carbohydrates/grains/fillers that many other kibble has. Love this!

Origen is high protein low carbohydrate dry food. It is grain free, and made with real food, rather than floor scrapings. Both of my cats eat it, but I think my older cat is starting to gravitate toward lower protein. He will nibble on Origen, but he really eats up Origen's sister brand Acana (10% lower protein).

I feed these, because my older guy gets sick of wet food and has had problems with crystals.

I love the idea behind this company and it is top quality. However, all my cats experienced severe digestive distress on this food, one even needed to be taken to the vet ER- she was so incredibly bloated they had to express gas from her! I attribute it to the chickpeas and other lentils used in this formula. That simply isn't something cats should be eating. I have them on an all-raw diet now and they are doing well. Two stars for the concept and quality though- and I should mention this company has great freeze-dried cat treats that my cats plow through...just unfortunately this dry food was not a good fit.

I am an informed very picky cat "butler". I feed my cats a mixture of whole ground raw food and canned 95% meat rain free. Don't want to give them treats with grain, by products, or something made in china so use this fas treats. Orijen is a wonderful company with high standards in quality control and safe sourcing of all ingredients. Were I ever to reach thepoint where I couldn't afford raw/canned food I would feed them Orijen Wish this company would expand to make canned food

I have been feeding my cat the fish flavor for over 5 years. I ordered her the original and the regional just to shake these up. Out of the 2, she seemed to have enjoyed the regional the most. I wish this flavor of food was offered in the largest size.

Our cats love this flavour! I think it's fairly new (at least I hadn't seen it before in pet stores) & I hope it comes in the 15lb bag size as that is so much cheaper & less hassle than the smaller sizes. I bought this size as a sample to see if our cats would like the flavour & this mostly red-meat variety complements the fish (blue) & poultry (orange) choices by Orijen.

I'm having a hard time transitioning my cat to this food. My boy has been on "Max Cat" for approx 1mo now, and prefers it to wet food. I would prefer "Orijen" for its nutritional value, but I can't get my him to eat it. Even if I mix it with his Max Cat, my boy will eat around the Orijen. I've tried three different flavors of Orijen. It was money wasted.
