I started getting this calendar about 10 years ago and, as they say, accept no cheap imitations. I held my breath until this showed up in the mail, because the description did not comfort me by asserting that 1) the edges of the pages are gold, and 2) the printed number on the back of the calendar is 70-1110, not 70-1110-05. When this 2015 calendar arrived in the mail, it did indeed have gold edged pages, and the number printed on the back of the calendar was consistent with 2014 (70-1110).

This is a great little planner. I used it for everthing and have it with me ALL the time. It's great! I love that it's leather bound and has a ribbon in the binding to mark the monthly view and tear off corners at the bottom to mark the daily place. It's leatherbound which is amazing for the price! And it works fabulously for me. Only thing to note is that the wk starts on a Monday which I don't prefer but I make it work.

Even in the age of Outlook and Google Calendar I find that I need to keep appointments and other scheduled events in a paper planner; I keep events both the Monthly Pocket Planner and the electronic calendar. I have been using this Monthly Pocket Planner for two decades. It is thin and narrow enough to fit in my blazer jacket. It is well made, with two metal corners to prevent fraying.

This purse calendar is exactly what I wanted. It's a little bigger than a checkbook and fits well in a purse. There is plenty of space for event details all 7 days of the week. Some calendars reduce the writing space for Saturday & Sunday, but this one does not. The gold page edging with black cover looks classy, and I use the ribbon page marker continuously. I may be looking for this next year.

I have been using this specific style of planner since 1999. It is Perfect size for jacket pockets or back pockets with plenty of room to write. However, it is difficult to find it in the box stores now. Amazon had this at a great price and delivery was quick! FYI, These are great backups when your I-phone or laptop craps out.
