Deep Red
  • Wonderful for dog breeds like Shih Tzu, Maltese, Yorkie, and others who tend to get the 'wet face' from drinking from a standard water dish.
  • Helps prevent face and eye stains. When water sits, bacteria grow in it which contributes to staining.
  • Most dogs can easily be trained to drink out of a water bottle by putting a little peanut butter on the tip of the nozzle. For this to work, you must removed their normal water dish while training them to use the bottle.
  • The nozzle of the bottle is approximately 8 1/2 - 9" from the floor, at a comfortable height for most small sized dogs. Accomodates standard 32 oz. round water bottles bottles. If you use the Lixit bottle with the angled end (or other similar bottles) the nozzle will be a little higher than 9". If you have a very small dog, you should use a standard shaped bottle so the nozzle will be lower.
  • The bottle will fit loosely into the stand, and sit with a slight tilt. This tilt helps discourage drips (from the bottle).

This serves its purpose and its easy to get the bottle in and out of. It doesn't seem to drip since the water bottle is reclined back a little. Our pomeranians, lhasa apso and shihtzu all drink from here. Not too high for any of them. I think nearly $40 is pretty insane, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of sellers for a product like this. We're used to hanging the bottle on a cage/kennel but the wire squeezes it and the bottle drips. Haven't had a problem with this and the dogs seem to like it!

The new shih tzu addition to our family is a rescue and almost 5. She was raised by her previous owner on a lick bottle that keeps her beard stain free. Our 14 y/o shih tzu uses a bowl, her white face is always a brown color from water stains, would love for her to use it but she is refusing change! We love the fact that we can take this anywhere for her to have her water. From the great room,to the deck and to her bed at night. Will not topple over and it is designed to hold the bottle at the proper angle for no dripping. We use a 32 oz. bottle which is the perfect height for her. Would love to have more but at $40,1 is all we can do but glad we got this one.

This is the nicest looking water bottle stand I could find. It was kind of expensive though and I wish it had more sizes but it is perfect for my Lhasa Apso!

My dogs love drinking from their new bottle stand and I love them drinking from the bottle instead of the shower. The only negative is the strong plastic oder coming from the stand.

Works really good. Give it a 9 out of 10 for stability. Packaged well and received in a timely manner. The red is very dark and kind of matte. My shih tzu puppy took right to it.
