My daughter is four and this craft is a little tough for her. But we figured it out. We did one color at a time and baked it just a few minutes- enough to make the colored beads stick together so there were no spills when doing the net color. In the end she loves doing it and now has a bunch hanging in her bedroom!

The openings were a bit small for a 5 year old. He fixed that by mixing yellow, blue and red and doing the whole rainbow area in the rainbow colors. He has it proudly hanging in the dining area window.

This is exactly how I remembered the product when I was a kid. There are little colorful beads to put into the spaces to make the picture. It is helpful to use a pair of tweezers to move colors around when the board shifted. Follow the directions and you will have a pretty rainbow.
