I use latex gloves around my house for a variety of reasons: food preparation (beef jerky namely), cleaning with chemicals I don't like, automotive, cleaning up after a sick dog, and more.

I am 5'10" and weigh 270lbs. Size large actually fits me quite nicely with a little room so I don't feel like my blood flow is cut off. The gloves are powder free, but go on very smoothly like powder is included. They stretch far without breaking, and so far using it with all of the above mentioned tasks, I have yet to tear/break.

I wasn't paying attention when I bought these, so I didn't know they were latex gloves. If you have never used latex before, they will leave a certain smell on your skin that you will have to wash off. Also, be sure you are not allergic to latex as this is actually a common allergy.

****Update 1/6/15****
This gloves are NOT good for food prep :(, which is honestly probably what I would use them most for. Because of the latex smell, it gets into the food. I'm now in search of new gloves. I still will give these a five stars, just wanted to let everyone know.

i thought these would be a bit longer, past my wrist, but they are shorter than they appear, and i have very small hands. i purchased them thinking they would be good for dishes and household chores, but they are better for cutting jalepeno peppers, or some other chore where you won't be submersing them in water.

I like these, which is good because I bought two boxes of them. One of my cats is on chlorambucil, which is an anti-inflammatory and chemotherapy drug (for his inflammatory bowel disease) that I am not supposed to touch. So I got these gloves to handle his pills.

I have great dexterity with these, they fit well (I have small hands with wrists that are only 5.5 inches around), and most importantly, they don't tear. (I also use them for other household tasks, like cleaning up when my dog has accidents, chopping hot peppers, etc.)

I love that they're powder free. I think they're an appropriate thickness for latex gloves (and I've tried many over the years). I was not so happy with the last brand of latex gloves I bought, so I am thrilled with these.

Also, please note that these are *latex* gloves. It says so in the item description currently, but that is subject to change and the title is long enough that I can see missing a word or two. At any rate, if you have a latex allergy, these are not the gloves for you. But if you want gloves for a few minutes of use here and there, around the house, you can't go wrong with these.

I've been exposed to many varieties of latex gloves, having worked in a hospital for three decades. That said, I needed multipurpose gloves for home use. I realistically didn't expect the same (heavier) quality of the workplace gloves. But, these are pretty nice.

These are cost effective and will certainly meet the needs of someone who is a home caregiver, or just about any time hand protection is required.

The only negative is that I have always worn medium latex gloves and these fit a little more snug than others. It's not a deal breaker because I almost have more dexterity with the snugger fit and they have held up to some fairly strenuous activity without tearing.

Basically, they're a good value and a decent glove. I'm glad I found them, when local retailers charge almost as much for just a few pair, as I paid for this whole box. And, I've found almost all of them subpar.

After going through 3 small packets of autozone gloves I figured I needed a box for myself. If you work on your car or bike at all, you should spend the 10 bucks ($7.58 as of this posting) and get this box as it will save you money in the long run. This is the best value I could find. I have small/medium hands and they fit well. Larger hands look elsewhere. These are the most basic latex gloves. They are not as thick as some others and will break if using them roughly. That is the only reason I'm taking a star. All in all I'm happy with my purchase and am hoping this box will last me many years.

Great price and durable enough for everyday use. I do not recommend these for wearing while using cleaning solvents however - use thicker gloves for those tasks. These are great for light cleaning, hair coloring/tinting, etc.

I'm a repeat buyer. I need a lot of gloves as my hands need to be protected from water and chemicals on a daily basis - cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, bathing the kids, you name it. I had trouble only once with one box where the last third of the gloves had stuck fingers and I had to blow inside the gloves before putting them on. Other than this the quality has been consistent. The gloves are thin and some rip upon putting on - I would say 2 in every 100-box, but these are one-time usage gloves, so I would not expect anything to the contrary. Not powdered, unscented, perfect for me (my eczema is easily triggered and those gloves do not trigger it).
