Love this wall paper! It is better in person. The background of the paper is much more muted in person than in the picture, but in a rich way. The instructions were in Chinese, and the English translation was very challenging to understand; however, I found online how to match the patterns before hanging. That is important. On my first attempt, I was being impatient and hung without matching the pattern and it was terrible. To ensure that each piece you hang continues the pattern from the previously hung piece, before cutting the paper, roll it out onto a flat surface the height of the wall you want it to hang ( give another 2 inches from actual height). Then, you can either take another roll of the same paper and line it up with the already laid out roll, but 4 inches down from the top of the first roll ( the two pieces will not be aligned at the top; there will be a 4 inch difference). That 4 inches is what allows the patterns to match up between pieces. If you do not want to use a second roll to align the patterns, you can cut another piece from the same roll you were using, rotate the paper so that the bottom is now the top, and leave 4 inches when matching it with the other piece of wall paper. The pattern is continuous. If this sounds confusing, just Google, " how to hang patterned wallpaper". Beautiful paper, I used as a feature wall in my bedroom. Very elegant. Very pleased.

When I first saw this product in the roll I was really worried, but it turned out great, point to note measure twice or three times before cutting, I do however wish the panels were wider as matching up the designs was a bit difficult. It looks great though put it up with the help of my hubby (thanks hun) on concrete wall used 2 containers of glue and needed a bit more as this was not drywall maybe it needed more glue, see picture attached.

The sliver pops real nice the back round color is hard it's like a light brown but also has a shade of pink with red but not really looks different in the shade as well as in the dark and light but Is super cool hope the pictures helps...
