even though my Samsung S4 does not fit the holder, I like how the controller just works without the need of an App. I like the antenna MonoPod. it's pretty long and light. just wish the holder would be made a bit larger to accommodate cases or possibly future phones that you know will get a bit bigger. Not talking about the Note, because I don't see putting a laptop on this monopod, but a decent size phone should be able to go on without any issues. Should also accommodate portrait mode, since most people don't know how to shoot video, and they are going to get annoyed that they can't ruin yet another video by holding the phone upright.

I bought 5 of these, one for myself and our four kids. They all love the concept, but the device does not hold the camera stead. It swivels and is shaky. It is difficult to figure out how to get it so it won't shake and then if you move it to quickly it gets loose again.

Works pretty well, is quite lightweight, but I guess it does the job just fine.

Add $6 to the purchase price, as there is no battery with the remote. Seems it would cost them mere cents, whereas I had to drive to the store, buy a two-pack, pay full retail plus tax, etc. Also, it was well finicky to get the battery in - but them it worked fine.

Like some of the others have said, it feels a little flimsy when it's fully extended. It works perfectly for what it's intended though. The remote looks fragile but it works. I could do without it actually since my iPhone has a camera timer. Overall, I'm very pleased with my "selfie stick" and I may just buy another one as a gift.

While the bracket and tripod unit is quite nice and works exactly as I'd hoped, the shutter remote is a real disappointment, since its creators couldn't be bothered to make it work with the basic camera app for more than a few models of android phones, and the app with which it is generally compatible, Camera 360, is the most pretentious, clunky, useless piece of software I have ever seen. Simply being forced to sit through the app's long, noisy intro video trying to get the shutter remote to work with my camera was worth knocking a second star off all by itself.

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there was no battery included for the remote, and it's not an ordinary size battery, so you would think it would be included.

After some tinkering to find the right app to download (It's not clear because there are several apps with the same name) I got it working and it's a great little set. Works like advertised. Worth the set up effort. I have a Samsung S4 it fits fine, snug, even with the thick bumper I use.
