It fits great, stays in place, doesn't chafe, washes and holds up well.
It's very comfortable, fits nicely, and has good support.
I'm 5'8", size 12-14 pants, and the L fits as expected.

I had always been intrigued by people in running skirts. I never really understood why people would want to run in a skirt (I'm not a dress wearer....). But I took up running somewhat seriously a couple years ago and after trying so many different kinds of shorts that would ALWAYS ride up I started looking at other alternatives. I'm not thin enough to just wear those skin-tight shorts (and not sure I would wear them even if I were...) so I started looking at running skirts with the shorts underneath. At the time I was training for my first half-marathon and it was chilly outside so that brought me to the Skirt Sports skirt with capris underneath. I will never run in shorts again. I will invest in several running skirts, specifically only from Skirt Sports. I got my capris/skirt just in time for the half marathon and broke one of the cardinal rules of running....I ran in new gear for the race without trying it out beforehand. I loved it. The material is soft and light, the waistband is snug yet not binding, and THE POCKETS...the pockets and the hole in the side for your headphones are just the greatest. The capris are a little long for me (I'm 5'2") so I find myself adjusting them to hit more at my knees for comfort's sake and they thankfully stay put.

A friend of mine tried a skirt from a different manufacturer and she hates it because the shorts ride up. I recently bought a Gym Girl skirt from Skirt Sports and I am not disappointed. It's got the same great fabric and pockets and the shorts do not ride up. I can't say enough good things about these running skirts, I'll remain loyal to Skirt Sports unless they inexplicably change how they make their products.

Finally! An article of sports clothing that is carefully crafted AND appropriate AND flattering on my 5'4", 180 lb, 56 year-old-frame!
I own two of these (the other is basic black) capri skirts and I live in them! We practically live on our boat in the summer and I pull these on over a ruched black one-piece swimsuit and, voila! The ruching blends right in to the waistband of the Capri Skirt for a seamless look! I often wear them paired with a long sleeve rash guard shirt when I swim and paddle board. Great, stylish sun protection and the coverage is great climbing back onto the paddle board from the water!

I know a look is good I get compliments from women in my age group AND having the younger women ask me where I got the item. I have noticed a few Skirt Sports Capri skirts showing up at the marina as well!

I would suggest that you make a swim/surf version of this product but I find that mine dry quickly and I like the weight as it is.

I plan on purchasing your winter styles for x-country skiing and paired with a down vest and furry boots for running around town in Utah's colder months!

Thank you again, Skirt Sports!

Leigh

I am a bit fluffy on the bottom so I really like how this skirt covers all that. It is very comfortable. However, it does slide down a bit. It's not a problem, but I guess I should have bought a smaller size. Maybe I'm losing weight . . .

Edit! Lost around 50 pounds, down two sizes, got skirt sports in every size. Nothing else is the same. I think the pockets are the best!! I just can't find anything else near comparable. It's cool too. And as much as it was flattering on my fluffy butt, it looks pretty hot on me now! Very very flattering!! Just the right length to show off my sweet running muscles!!

Background: I'm a 5'4", 165lb pear shaped woman that wears size 12-14 in pants. I started running 3 times per week about 1.5 months ago and I was curious about "skapris." I usually run in basketball shorts because I don't want everyone to see every detail of my thighs and butt (like in spandex), but basketball shorts sometimes ride up in the middle on long runs. As anyone with thick thighs knows, skin-skin thigh rubbing when your shorts ride up is no fun and neither is trying to tug the shorts back in place every so often.
With this skapri thing, the leggings stay in place and keep my thighs from rubbing while the skirt provides the modesty I want. It is super comfortable with good moisture wicking/breathable fabric. Seriously, it's the most comfortable thing I've ever run in! The pockets are great! I put my Galaxy S3 in the pocket, feed the headphone cord through the specially designed hole and listen to music or podcasts without any issues. My phone is held securely and does not get sweaty somehow.
The only thing about it that isn't amazing is the waistband. So far it hasn't caused any issues (worn twice so far), but it seems like it could twist or wear out fast because the actual elastic part is thin. It is hidden behind a thick waistband seam on the skirt, but don't be fooled - the actual elastic is not thick.
Overall, I still gave it a 5 star rating because it is very comfortable to run in. I just wish they weren't so expensive so I could buy more of them and slowly push the basketball shorts out of rotation completely.

UPDATE (Sept 2014): I still love these!!! My sister bought me a second one for a gift. I've ran in them and washed them many times, but they are not showing any wear. The waistband has not been an issue at all.
