I've got an NTI night guard to stop me from clenching me teeth in the night. I've worn it for a few years, using a tooth brush and paste to clean it up. I added CleanGuard to the process (just one tab ever few days added to the case with warm water and soak for 10 hours or so) and the appliance is going back to be clear as it was years ago. Thanks!

This stuff works significantly better than the Retainer-Brite I'd been using before. The Cleanguard gets all the tartar and calcium build-ups off my retainers, while the Retainer-Brite didn't. I really am impressed by how well this stuff works; I'd thought I'd never get the build-up off the tricky places on my retainer, but after soaking them for a day, a little light brushing was all it took to get off the gunk that remained. Plus it's CHEAP! I bought enough to still be using my supply when I get dentures in sixty years. What a relief.

I have used Fresh Guard and everythinf the dentist sugested. Well I have to suggest he inform his other patients how well Clean Guard works in comparison. I wear the invisalign aligners and a mouth guard. It is the ONLY product I would ever consider using after trying EVERYTHING! Love it!!!!

Have used this product, Efferdent's Fresh Guard crystals, and Efferdent's tablets each for three weeks to compare the results. I have not yet used the Retainer Brite product which I intend to do as soon as I use some of my accumulated stash of products down some. Both Efferdent's product have a "soapy" (I call it slimmy) feel that I don't care for. The Fresh Guard crystals make me cough every time I empty the product into the ultrasonic cleaner that I use. My other criticisms of it is the bad taste that's left unless your very careful to rinse it thoroughly before putting the retainers back in and my retainers were stained at the end of the three weeks.. The Efferdent tablets don't make me cough and don't have the bad taste but do leave the soapy slick feel. They actually cleaned much better than the crystals. Of the three I certainly prefer the Cleanguard. . .doesn't make me cough, no bad taste, no soapy feel and kept my retainers clear. The regular price of the Cleanguard is high at $6.99 for 20 tablets, compared to $5 + at Walmart for 24 of the Efferdent Fresh Guard and $8.49 for 120 of the Efferdent tablets. Although I prefer this product, I wouldn't pay the $6.99 for 20 tablets. I still will try the Retainer Brite and compare it after I've used it for three weeks.

We have been using these for about a week now, and they seem to be keeping our guards clean. They are priced (at least when we bought them) low enough where we can afford to use them daily. We had been soaking our nightguards in non-alcohol mouthwash to disinfect them and using denture tablets once a week to clean them, but only using the cleaners once a week still led to some build up on them. These daily tablets seem to work much better. I hope the pricing stays low.

It's okay. I read in some reviews that this product took stains and discolorations out of their guards. I haven't seem any change. In my opinion, I think you'd do just as well to use your toothbrush and toothpaste on it daily.

Cleans my mouth guard well. Better than what I was doing on my own! The 2 problems:
1. I do not care for the taste left on the guard the next time i use it.
2. The tubes that they come in are really hard (& painful) to open. I feel it's a poor design for something you open every morning. I just barely put the lid on now (but I worry about the moisture in the bathroom air possibly rendering the disks unusable)

Whatever the case, those 2 problems are not enough to stop using them, at this time, because it's super easy just to drop one of the disks in a cup of water with your guard. I will, however try out different brands to see if I can find one for which those issues are not present!

Just in case someone else feels the same way, I'll try to remember to edit my review & put the name of the one I decide to stick with!
