I have plantar fasciitis so I need cushiony shoes. I love these. They are so comfortable & I can wear them all day. I was worried about the width because I sometimes need wide but these fit perfectly. Plus they look good too!

I order a size up in athletic shoes. I measure a 9 in women's size; ordered a 10. This is my 3rd or 4th pair in this style. Power walk 3.5 miles daily in them. Wear a different pair all day. Relieves sciatic nerve impingement in R hip.

These run true to size for width and length in regards to Asics sizing. I would suggest to obtain your smaller running shoe size. There is plenty of room to wiggle toes. Arch support is good for medium to high arches. Nothing negative. Good luck!

A+ No More Heel Pain or Plantar Fasciitis

Ive looked all over and I've tried several different lines from Asics and Reebok over the last couple years. I walk on the outside of my feet AND I ended up with Plantar Fasciitis after taking up running two years ago (from a very sedentary lifestyle). I tried the Trail line from Asics and they were too tight thru the arch and led to foot pain after about 15 minutes of the workout. I found the Asics website and their Shoe Finder - which is wonderful! I was able to plug in my strike pattern and needs and it generated a list of options. This shoe was the "previous" model of one of the recommendations and it was a great price.

These shoes are the hands-down-no-contest-best shoes ever! I have no heel pain after wearing them for 8+ hrs and the location of the support is perfect for overpronators. I order a full size larger than normal for my workout shoes because by the time I get to the gym, my feet are always swollen. That way they don't pinch.

Highlights:
*Firm sole - best for Plantar Fasciitis
*More padding on outside edges for overpronators
*Excellent heel support
*Shallow(ish) heel depth - I use a heel lock lace pattern and that elk mates most heel slip
*Short laces - not a deal breaker by any means but worth mentioning

Absolutely the best shoes I've found by far to date!

I wear a size 7.5 and tried this shoe on at Kohl's. 7.5 was too short. Went with an 8 & ordered from Amazon. The 1/2 size bigger fits perfectly.

Asics Flux 2 Running shoes

I love Asics Flux 2! This is my second pair of Asics and I knew I have a wide foot so I got (D) wide with! However I think my first pair I bought at a nearby shoe store had a wider box toe area than the Asics 2, which were the Asics gel flux. I will buy more of the same but waiting for different colors in my size of 6.5 D with! I recommend ! The Asics Flux 2 has not been out all that long.
