Considering we are at our 3rd kid and we have quite a few friends with young children, I've often thought about what the perfect stroller would be. Of course, it has to be light, easy to fold and open, and a good balance. When it comes to ease of turns, no other stroller performed better than the Baby Jogger City Mini GT Single Stroller, which has 3 wheels. I would consider this Recaro stroller to be a nice compromise between the ease of turning of the 3 wheel strollers, and the 4 wheeled strollers. The front wheels are closer than the rear 2 wheels, and they are very easy to turn. One advantage of this stroller over the 3 wheeled strollers is the increased stability - we never had to worry about my 2 1/2 year old turning this one over, like with 3 wheeled strollers. My wife likes the large storage bag at the bottom, which is a great asset when shopping. Overall, this is indeed a well built and performance oriented stroller. I would hot recommend it for jogging, but it's great and sturdy for everything else we need it for.

I am finding out that when our children grow up and have those "Grand"kids, and they are GRAND, us Grandparents need just as much baby gear as the new parents if we play an active part in their life. I had just purchased The First Years Ignite Stroller for weekend and days out with my 4 year old grandson when I was offered this stroller to review. I have used both of them and can say with certainty if you want a stroller that you can use from birth until they get too big for a stroller, this Recaro Stroller is all you'll need.

This is a surprisingly sturdy yet lightweight stroller. It feels like it weighs less than my The First Years Ignite Stroller and the Recaro is much easier to fold and carry.

The handle bar is covered with a soft foam. Measuring from floor to handle is 41". I am 5'7" and this is a comfortable height for me. My Ignite umbrella stroller is the same height.

You can use it as an infant stroller by using the recommended Recaro infant car seat. I was able to get my Graco Quick Connect car seat to click in place. I'm not sure if this is recommended by the manufacture but if it works.....and it worked for me.

This stroller comes with everything you will need, completely assembled except for the rear wheels. They were very easy to snap in place. The storage basket underneath is much larger than I expected. It can hold a lot of baby gear and/or purse, shopping bags, etc.Read more ›

I should start by stating that this was ALMOST a 5 star rating. I already own another brand of stroller with similar features. I was excited to get this one open and start using it.

My one and only problem with this stroller was the putting it together part. I couldn't find the manual at first and then once I found the book the instructions for putting the rear wheels on were a bit lacking. In particular there were foam covers on the metal attachment of the wheels. Nice enough foam that I wasn't sure it was supposed to be removed. Once we got past that the wheels clicked in real easy.

I was most impressed by the overall look and construction of this stroller when taking it out of the box. The metal frame makes it a very sleek stroller My husband also liked that the look of the stroller and felt comfortable pushing it around.

For our first outing with the stroller we took the stroller to a 4th of july party out at a public park. The wheels were real easy to push over the grass and gravel path that the park had. I also like how easy it was to put things into the basket on the bottom. The stroller was easy and light enough (even with the toddler in) to lift over the curb.

The tray was an added bonus and super easy to click into place. I love that I don't have to take it off to get my son out of the stroller in a pinch.

I am really impressed with this stroller and love that it is so easy to collapse down. We are working towards having another baby and this stroller has me convinced we should get the infant carrier that goes with it when the time comes.

I purchased this strolled when it was obvious my toddler was outgrowing his previous stroller. I LOVE this stroller. It folds so small that it only takes up 1/2 the trunk of my Toyota Prius. I am so happy to have trunk space again for groceries and stuff.
Pros:
Small folded blueprint
Easy to carry strap when folded
Lighter than other full size strollers
One Handed break down (+++with a toddler in tow this is so valuable)
Full size hood
Removable (and collapsible) snack tray. yes, the tray can stay attached when stroller is collapsed although it took me a few tries to figure this out
Full size basket (fits our huge diaper bag and more!)
Drink cup holder (which can be attached on either side, and YES it stays on when stroller is folded)
Increased leg room (my son has another 6 inches of leg room in this stroller than his previous one
Style (gotten many compliments on its sophisticated looks, oh la la!)

Cons:
At the highest seat setting my son still tries to sit up a bit higher. He will get used to it though
Four wheels are a tad harder to turn that a 3 wheel
Does great over grass but not great on gravel

The only feature this stroller doesn't have is the ability to reverse the position of the child. If the handle could be transferred to the front or back as the parent wanted that would be great! (However then it would he moved into the higher price range for strollers 400+)

Overall I am very pleased with this stroller and know it will last my son until he no longer needs a stroller. I am not sure how this stroller would work for someone with an infant. I read that it is only compatible with Recaro infant car seats. However if you wanted a system that would last you a long time, this system would!
