This seems like a really cool product, but it actually doesn't work well at all. Took it on a road trip this weekend. I had my phone plugged into it for 3 hours, and it wasn't even half full. The end attached to my phone was super overheated -- too hot to touch, and the phone was only at 48% battery Same thing happened on the way home. I can take my normal phone charger in the car and have the phone fully charged in less than an hour. I got it for free from a vendor booth, so I just threw it out when I got home; it's not even worth having around as a backup. Really disappointed in the performance.

PRO - Great length and material
Cons - Unusable if you have a case on your devices.

Considering the fact that outdoortech is marketed for outdoor use, the cable is not quite friendly with devices that are housed in outdoor cases (Eg. lifeproof/otterbox, etc.) because it cannot plug into the recessed ports.

Terrible product! The idea is great, but the execution is bad. I purchased two (one for me and one as a gift) after seeing a coworker with one. After a couple weeks of use, the lightning pin portion just fell out. It also wouldn't charge my phone if it was dead. If it still had a little life left, it would charge. I still use it for the 10-pin and micro USB which works ok. The one I gave as a gift also stopped working (and also they complained the lightning charger was rather short, it wouldn't work with their case on their phone). My coworker said she had a similar problem with hers and her husband's as well. So 4 out of 4 of these cords have broken. Do NOT recommend!!
