I really like the overall container: The glass is thick and solid and the silicone around it makes sure I don't drop it accidentally.
The hatch tabs are too small and a real hassle to put on properly, especially with slightly wet hands. They are also too small to take out the whole container from the microwave. Make them a little longer and triangle-shaped from the side, so they are easier to grip.

4 cups is a lot of food and every time I have lunch in the container, I am hoping that LifeFactory would put out another version: Same area, less height. For me it never gets filled more than 2/3 - I can't eat more than that - and the size-reduction would also bring a weight-reduction.

These work well for their purpose--getting my lunch to work with me without plastic to leach into my food, yet protected so I don't have broken glass in my lunch bag. I find the lid snaps very difficult to use. You have to stretch the side tabs up over the pins on the side of the lid, and sometimes I just can't seem to make it work. They are small, so there's not a lot to grab onto to stretch them up and over.

I am very disappointing. I thought this is leak-proof as advertised. However it's not. I did a leak-proof check experiment and water flowed out. Also the lid is very badly designed and can not be easily put on.

Good for intended lunchbox purpose. The lids are tight & hard to latch. Perhaps difficult for small children. Lids are not for use in microwave. Latch tabs too small to remove from microwave using as handles.

Love that it is glass, bummed that the lid which I've never microwaved or thrown in the dishwasher no longer seals tight. It pops up. Wish it stayed on tight. But love the color. I think I should have went with the 4-cup size for lunches, but the 2-cup is fine. I may have a defective lid... but I love all of my other LifeFactory products.

This thing is pretty awesome. It's actually leak-proof, which surprised me. The lid stays on with this little loop closure that takes some muscle to close, but it holds on really well. (But probably not great if you have arthritis or something.)

The bottom portion is fantastic though have had quite a bit of trouble getting the lid to seat properly. The silicone on the lid constantly "rolls under" when trying to attach the lid. Also, even with the lid and seal properly placed when turned upside down leaks liquid.

LOVE these. So many reviews on here say the tabs are difficult to fasten/unfasten, but I've had no problems with this on all three of the ones I've purchased. My 2 year old can even do it, so maybe they fixed a design flaw or the other people got lemons. Or maybe my daughter and I are just stronger than all you weaklings.

Highly recommend these for plastic-free food storage on the go!
