These are the shoes I got to exchange out for the Dexter Lori shoes. I really like them. They are soft and flexible. They fit true to size. I have a very wide foot and had no trouble getting them on or wearing them. I also have little callouses on my little toes, and often the seams on the outside of shoes (decorative or otherwise) pinch and rub those callouses till they hurt a lot. These shoes have no outside seams and so no rubbing. Took me 3 days of wearing them around in my house and two weeks (5 games) to get the soles broke in, but they are finally sliding on the approach. I got a 212 today. Woo Hoo!!

I had a pair of Dexter bowling shoes that I was replacing. I bought the same size as my previous pair (a half size bigger than my shoe size) but the wide size due to the reviews of these being narrow. These certainly don't feel wide AT ALL! As I am wearing them week after week, they feel a little better but still not as comfortable as my last pair. However, this isn't the main issue with them. The first time I bowled I almost fell on my face. There was no slide at all. Scared me to death.My previous pair worked great right out of the box. I went to the pro shop and bought a powder to put on the sole. I was told not to use much as it will make the soles very, very slippery. Well, I rubbed and rubbed and rubbed this powder on my shoe soles and they barely slid. Now after several weeks, they are sliding okay but I still have to use the powder on them after almost every time I am up. What's with this? They're supposed to be bowling shoes! Way too much maintenance as I play and if I forget, I almost fall. I've been bowling a long time and never had shoes like this. So between the inaccurate fit and the bad slide, I'm looking for another shoe..

Yes. The ones I had were a half size too short (old ones). Took a chance and ordered these half size larger not knowing if they would fit etc. they did fit perfectly. I really like them as they look like tennis shoes rather than bowling shoes and very comfortable.

I ordered 7.5 wide width Dexter Women's Raquel Bowling shoes, man were they ever little and narrow!!! I could not get my foot into these shoes--I had to return them, which I did, and ordered the shoes one whole size larger. I love my shoes. Last week I bowled a 166, my average is 115--how can I complain about that! The return wasn't bad either, even though I paid for the return---and I didn't receive return paperwork in the original box. (should have just in case!)

I'm normally skeptical about buying shoes for someone without them trying them on first. But these shoes are a great fit. Buy your size with confidence. My wife said they were comfortable and performed as expected. Now if only her ball would. Lol
