I purchased this for a friend who a year ago broke his ankle. He has had a very hard time with pain and discomfort until I got him wearing Tommie Copper. It has improved his ability to walk around and has helped with his flexibility as well. This is a man who is constantly on the go and needed to be able to continue with his active lifestyle. I would recommend Tommie Copper to anyone who has any type of pain and discomfort; it really will help you!!

I broke my ankle 4 moths ago, a bad break and I have been having problems with swelling. I always have to wear a compression sock to keep the swelling down, but I really hate the ones that go to the knee so I have been looking for one that only goes just above the ankle. I was really excited to try these after reading reviews here and on the website. I actually ordered two of these straight from the Tommy Copper website because they don't have smalls on here. I am telling you that they have NO compression ability!! My ankle was so swollen, the only part that wasn't was the very top where the elastic band is to keep them up. The fabric is super stretchy and thin, there honestly is no support which was very disappointing because now I have two worthless socks...

It is much to small and tight. I am a petite person with small ankles, the size small is so tiny that it is even difficult to get on to my wrist! Suggest that the size recommend shoe size; weight; ankle measurement or some way to help buyers to choose the correct size.

First of all, I LOVE Tommie Copper. I have a knee brace from them and a few friends who have other various body part sleeves. All of us agree that the ones we use are phenomenal and help a great deal. When my ankle started acting up on my runs recently there was no doubt in my head that it was Tommie Copper to the rescue. The item arrived quickly but unfortunately the very first time I put it on, it ripped at the seam. Please don't misunderstand this, it's not like I ripped the dang thing on or used any unneccessary force, though I didn't treat it as delicate as a kleenex either. Thinking maybe I got the wrong size, I double checked what I ordered, what size it was, and double checked my measurements, and all were correct. Because I've had such great experience with the knee sleeve, I was really bummed out that the ankle one was so delicate. It's unusable now, so it was a wasted purchase. My ankle isn't in great shape and I was relying on this to help and am now left not knowing what to do so wanted to write this review so that it hopefully saves one person from being in the same situation as me. Again, love Tommie Copper, but maybe the ankle sleeve just isn't that durable. Truly unfortunate.

Product is crap. First off, they don't have a shoe size converter. I have size 9 shoe size . i should be a medium. but it was so tight i couldn't get it on. So i ordered a large. that one slid on and then it ripped.

Bought this Tommy Copper Ankle Sleeve for my husband who was complaining of a recurring ankle pain that resulted from an ankle strain he obtained while walking out in a field of A'a lava here in Hawaii. He used to have to ice his ankle quite frequently. He has not complained since using this sleeve.He swears by it. He puts it on in the morning before going to work and keeps it on on all day until he gets home from work. We don't know how it works but it does. We were skeptical at first but decided to give it a try...and its paid off. If you're suffering from ankle pain, you might want to try this. It's worth the try. Highly recommend!

I fractured my ankle years ago as a kid....a few times....and I guess it's coming back to haunt me. I don't like tight ACE bandages because I have somewhat sensitive skin. I like to try avoiding something that makes me itch and sweat and smells funky at the end of the day. When I'm at work I have 8" lace up boots so I thought this would go well. I wore it on a day off to get a feel for it and I had no issues with it. Wearing socks with it never bothered it, I didn't itch, it's very breathable. The big test was when I went to work. 12 hour shifts, almost always on my feet, it gets punished. No issues wearing it at all, and my ankle actually felt a lot better than it has been. Is it all in my head? Who knows! It didn't ride up or fall off, which is always a plus. Not a fan of the fact that the logo fell off after day one...but who cares about that?

I was a little concerned about the fit after reading several reviews stating this fits too tightly at the top. it was a little tight when I wore it the first couple of times, but now fits very comfortably. the compression is not quite as much as I expected across the ankle/foot area, but it's OK.
p.s. I'm female but bought the men's version in medium only because I wanted the gray (which was out of stock in the women's version) after going to the Tommie Copper website and reading the sizing information and measuring as advised.
