    My husband purchased the sandals to use during his field work. He's a biologist and does most of his work on the Gulf Coast. He uses them to wade in the water, to walk on the beach, on his boat, hiking the woods, etc. He really loves these sandals and considers them all-purpose.

    When they were delivered he tried them on right way and after some adjusting of the straps he found them to be comfortable. He was worried that the loop around his "big toe" would be uncomfortable, but he says it keeps his foot from sliding forward in the sandal.

    My husband normally wears a size 9 shoe, but he used their size chart and talked to fellow co-workers who also use the same brand sandal and purchased the size 8. They fit his foot very well. The straps were a bit difficult to adjust, in fact, he looked up a YouTube on how to adjust them correctly.

    He has currently been wearing them every day for the past two weeks, both at home and work. At work he enjoys the fact that they dry quickly, keep his feet cool and protected.

    Bought these as a gift for my boyfriend who wore his other chacos until there was nearly nothing left at all and not worth the repair, after he was admiring them in a store window one day. He rarely spends money on himself so I bought these just before a summer cruise to the Bahamas. He loves them. Even in the dead of winter, he has them on his feet because he says they are the most comfotable shoes ever. Plus, he loves the brown color of the footbed as opposed to the same old every day black. I am not a chaco person, I think they look awful, but he loves them and that is all that matters!

    They look great, but a little tough to adjust to get the right fit. They are a little uncomfortable where the straps are on the sides of the heel. The sandal is much thicker in person and they are really heavy when you walk (which I have gotten used to). But overall I do like them. They support my feet during long hikes or walks and they look great.

    Chacos rock. I started wearing them about 5-6 years ago, and haven't looked back since. I wear them whenever I can get away with it - they are comfortable all day.

    They do stink if you have stinky feet - this will amplify that (but only when they are not on your feet).

    Chaco's are one of my favorite shoes right now. I can wear them any time of the year for any activity. They are a little costy, but I recommend them. The only part that sucks is when you first get them and you have to figure how you enjoy the straps. It is easy to move the straps until you find the way you enjoy wearing them.

    I love all of the Chacos I've had they are great. I order mens, because I find they fit my feet better than women's, but it means that the sandal strap often has to be tucked in or wrapped. I ordered this one, expecting a light brown foot bed, but it arrived with a dark brown foot bed. The images in the online ads are a bit misleading. It's ok, and not worth the trouble of sending back. I like them regardless.

    They fit well,are extraordinarily comfortable and have enough tread to go darn near anywhere. I only hope these hold up as well as others have said they will. Be aware that the adjustment will take some time and you will have to adjust them several times to get the right fit. Some noted that the toe strap was cumbersome but with proper adjustment I did not experience any issues.
